A motivating way to make children aware of the importance of respecting the classroom rules
This item meets my expectations since I find it very useful for the classroom management. Moreover the material is really sturdy.

A lovely idea that needs some tweaking
Because of my job I’m always thinking of ways to support my little ones so when this item came along I was excited to take it! You get two buckets, one with a happy face, the other one sad. You also receive thirty plastic sticks and two sheets of labels, one preprinted with activities. My first thought was that the buckets look sturdy and well presented, the sticks also look excellent - hearts and stars for good, thunderbolts and clouds for not so good. I am a little gutted at seeing the American terms for behaviour on the preprinted stickers, it could have been tweaked to suit the English market as I doubt some of my little ones will understand what it means! If you plan to print your own labels it’s unlikely to fit and I’m unsure if there’s a suitable template online. Maybe worth laminating and glueing it on instead. That said you can either use it as a reward bucket and as a way of highlighting behaviour at home or in school. Or as I am planning on using it, as an intervention activity where I’m going to encourage the students to sort through the sticks and put positive and negative behaviours in the right buckets. I am going to create my own labels for the sticks though which may hide the pretty shapes but will make more sense for my children. It’s a wonderful idea though, albeit a bit expensive.

Buckets for behaviour
I’m not sure I like this concept of “good” and “bad” behaviour. The set is made up of 2 buckets - one with a happy face and the other with a sad face. There are sticks that you receive blank and so have to peel off the enclosed stickers to complete the sticks - there is a blank sheet so you can write your own comments etc but there aren’t any spare sticks so you would need to discount some of the pre printed stickers. Quite a lot of the terms are very American - this should be made for the U.K. market or marked clearly on the front so you know this before ordering. Once a behaviour has been noted the child puts the relevant stick in the happy or sad pot - once you have a few in the pot they are likely to forget what “behaviours” are in there as you can’t read them when they’re placed together. I much prefer a chart that’s placed on the wall which is easier to see and understand. This is of course my own opinion and I know other people will like this concept it’s just not for me

If you like Coercion and Bribery you'll love this.
Children aren't perfect but you can punish them for it now through humiliation, coercion with these fun little 'shame on a stick'. Cheap enough too to still have money toward their therapy bills for their social anxiety and people pleasing leanings once grown up! What's not to love?!?

This is a great resource to help my toddler with managing behaviors it also encourages my child to stay focus on task. I use it as a reinforcement and positive reinforcement. Its helps a lot with positive feedback. My child responds will to the bucks. I definitely recommend for toddler managing big emotions and encouraging positive behavior. Great for home or in a classroom setting with a 1:1 student maybe a small class as well.

I can't say enough good things about this behavior bucket toy! It has been such a helpful tool in disciplining my child while also making the process fun and engaging. Every night, we review his actions for the day, and he gets to see how his behavior adds up. It really motivates him to do better because he loves the idea of earning positive rewards. Over time, it has helped him become more kind, friendly, and aware of his actions toward others. He’s also started recognizing when he’s being naughty or not listening, which has made a huge difference in his behavior at home. 1. It encourages self-reflection – My child now actively thinks about his behavior throughout the day. 2. Promotes kindness – He’s more aware of how he treats others. 3. It’s fun and engaging – It turns discipline into a game rather than a punishment. Honestly, this toy has made a huge impact on our daily routine, and I would recommend it to any parent looking for a positive way to encourage good behavior!
