Why does a stainless steel product need anti-rust oil? Low Chromium, then?

Stainless steel is more resistant to rust than other alloys; it is not 100% incapable of rusting. A protective coating of oil is a reasonable precaution for any steel object, especially in situations like shipping and transfer to customers where the vendor is not directly in control of the conditions the item is subjected to. It cannot be reasonably used as an indication of product quality or alloy composition.

Why is one guage yellow?

My yellow blade is .010. There is another silver .010 next to it. May be a reference point to find blade size.
