NEMA L6-30R

Was what I ordered and fit exactly into a regular box. Was easy to install and worked perfectly.

When it comes to power delivery for heavy-duty applications, I prioritize safety, durability, and a secure connection. The NEMA L6-30R flush mounting receptacle is a component I regularly specify and install for my clients, and for good reason. It's a prime example of a product engineered for performance and reliability in demanding environments. The installation process for this receptacle is solid and professional. The flush-mounting design creates a clean, low-profile finish, which is excellent for both safety and aesthetics in places like workshops, server rooms, or garages. The terminals are robust and accept the required wire gauge with a secure clamp-down, ensuring a low-resistance connection that can handle the full 30-amp load. The instructions are clear, and the mounting holes align perfectly with standard boxes, minimizing any hassle during installation. What truly sets the NEMA L6-30R apart is the locking mechanism. Once a compatible L6-30P plug is inserted and twisted, the connection is physically locked, preventing accidental disconnection. This feature is critical for applications where vibration or pulling on the cord could cause a dangerous power interruption. The durable thermoset plastic or nylon housing is resistant to impact and chemicals, giving me confidence that the receptacle will withstand years of use in a harsh environment. Ultimately, this receptacle is a testament to quality engineering. It's a specialized component for a specific job, and it performs that job perfectly. For any installation requiring a secure, high-amperage connection—from welders to generators to large machinery—this is the gold standard. It's a heavy-duty solution that provides peace of mind for both the electrician and the end-user.

I was a little worried because I don’t know the brand but it works great and fit perfectly.

Quick delivery and complete product

As described. Good value.

Great quality.

Instructions said to put hot wire on gold screw and ground on silver screw. Problem is both screws were silververy good company. I accidentally ordered wrong plug receptacle, 250 volt plug instead of 125 volt plug. Was able to call company and explain what happened. They sent me a new correct plug within 3 days at no charge. Unusual to be able to call companies anymore. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

This receptacle is built well. The problem was that it is difficult to disconnect the plug from the receptacle. I tried two different plugs and both plus were hard to disconnect (after turning the plug to unlock). I will be returning this product.
