Clearista Retexturizing Gel is the perfect combination of beauty and science. It's safe, effective, easy to use, and paraben free. Clearista will help you look as young as you feel by helping to smooth the skin, and reduce the appearance of age and sun-related folding/wrinkling. You've only got one life, and you should look gorgeous while living it. Clearista Gel contains a patented formula plus mild, biodegradable jojoba beads to achieve the effects often contributed to moisturizers, scrubs, and serums. If you're looking for something to add a little oomph and get a little glow back, then Clearista is for you. Clearista fits in well with your established skincare routine so there's no need to retire your tried and true products. Clearista uses an innovative approach called Targeted Corrective Exfoliation (TCX) to aid in your skin's natural exfoliation process. This formula hydrates, softens and smoothes the skin with almost immediate results and gel doesn't use shortcuts like oils or silicone. With frequent use, Clearista Retexturizing Gel effectively reduces the appearance of a wide range of skin imperfections, such as: - Rough, dry, or dull skin - Rough or dry patches, including roughness on the hands or elbows - Rough chicken skin bumps on the face, arms, legs, and backside - Small white, pigmented or flesh-colored bumps on the arms or face - Dark spots - Skin Bumps (Keratosis Pilaris) Review: It does NOT contain the toxic acrylamide (please read) - I think it is important to not that contrary to some previous reviews this product does not contain the chemical acrylamide, the possible cancer causing chemical found in some foods is not molecular the same as the ingredient acrylamide/sodium acryloyldimethyltaurate, which is an emulsion agent. I also think it’s important to note that this chemical, when found in foods, mostly fried potatoes, happens during the cooking process. It occurs when the potato is heated to a high temperature quickly, the crispier the fry, the more acrylamide. Anyone going to stop eating fries now? There is absolutely no research that shows the emulsifier has the same toxic effects as the chemical alone. I will say in rats at moderate levels could be responsible for reproductive issues but the truth is eating what is considered a “moderate” amount of any single chemical is potentially toxic. Interestingly this product was not created by a cosmetic company, it was a group of medical scientists. The intention was to create a gel that would make taking skin biopsies (for cancer), less invasive. The subjects noted how young their skin looked. This was due to it taking off the layer of dead skin that makes our faces look dull, especially for people like me, who do not shed that skin properly. It does not, (as 1 reviewer theorized) “make your skin swell”. It’s not a trick, we all would look better without dead skin on our face. And of course stopping the use of the product will very quickly make you dull again because we are constantly growing and shedding dead skin. Because of my skin condition, that I have passed to my daughter, I have been praying for a product like this. Something different. Where I can look at the ingridents and not see the same thing I saw on the previous product that failed me. This company is right in saying we need to stop looking at skin care as a cosmetic issue and find solutions in the medical field and make them available to the mas public. Not just through a dermatologist many (myself) can’t afford. Review: Incredible product! - This product is amazing. Cleans and leaves skin feeling incredibly soft. It's also not harsh like other products, namely ones with salicylic acid and other acids. It seems to just dissolve, break-apart, and rinse away the layers of dead skin while leaving the healthy skin untouched. It's really incredible. I would buy them in bulk if I could haha. I'd love to see this company make some other products as well. The only downside I can find is that the exfoliating beads can be a pain to wash away sometimes.

Not worth the price tag.
Kind of cool but way overpriced for what it is. Thought it was something special at that price point but it’s actually just a gentle exfoliant. I’ve used cheaper products that do the same thing. Kinda bummed I spent so much on this.

Effective for Keratosis Pilaris and exfoliation dryness
If you have small, itchy bumps on your skin this is a great product to try. It is also terrific to use when I have dryness or flaking from AHA treatments or vitamin A (tretinoin, retinol). This can be used as a wash or a weekly mask left on the skin for 10 minutes. The microbeads give a safe manual exfoliation although it’s best to use this product when it can be showered off to help rinse the skin. I will definitely repurchase this product.

Leave skin soft I
The product make your skin feel smooth and soft. I loved that! I’m not sure that it will take off Sk’s. That’s why I left off a star. I did love the product and will continue to use.

Expired 5 months ago
I just received this product today 5-8-2021 and it’s expired on 12-31-2020. This was an expensive product $48.75 to buy for it to be expired. I did read reviews on this product with people saying they had received expired product, but though by now they would have gotten rid of all expired product. Very disappointed.

Smooth skin. Check date.
Great product. Leaves skin feeling smooth. Note: Check expiration date. Received product with tape covering expiration date of 1/2020 on 10/2020. Looks like I'm not the only one.

Softens and smoothes skin incredibly
This product is amazing. It softens and smoothes skin immediately. I rub it on rough skin every day in the shower. I let it sit for about thirty seconds, then I rinse it off. I used it on itchy bumps. They completely went away. I am still in awe! I have already re-purchased.
