Precision Pro Vacuum Sealer

I spent ages (days) procrastinating over which vacuum sealer to buy and found this one on another well known food catering website (Nesbits) for almost double what it was listed here for. So took the plunge based upon one review saying they had tried other cheaper units before and they were happy they’d got this one, plus the double seal. The unit comes well boxed for transport and included in the box is a roll of sealing bags that sits comfortably in the machine. This machine can use roll or pre-made bag types. I’ve tried the machine with bags that are double textured type and also single textured type (the cheaper ones) and it works really well with both. To seal a pre-formed bag you simply fill the bag and then place the ends inside the oval chamber just under the lid and then press vac & seal. The machine does it’s forging and when the light goes out the job is finished. Using the roll type you simply pull the end of the bag to the edge of the machine, close the lid and press the seal button. Then you pull the bag to required length and use the inbuilt cutter to make your bag. Then fill you bag, and then follow the vac&sewl method as a pre-formed bag type. . I have only tried dry goods so far and have no issue whatsoever. I haven’t tried wet goods yet but I don’t feel there will be an issue as long as you leave a long enough length of bag before the goods so you’re not literally sucking at the top of the fluid in the material. I did see one review site suggesting that if you hang the bag over the edge of the counter gravity will assist with wet goods. The two photos here show popcorn vac’d using two pre-formed bags. They were vac’d about 3 weeks ago as a test and no signs of any leakage or air pockets seen. The close up is the double crimp. Machine can be stored on its back as well as in the same orientation as it would operate in. So I am more than happy with the machine for what I need it for. If I have to find a negative there are a couple of minor ones. Not really negatives but improvements for the next generation. 1. There’s no inbuilt place to store the vacuum jar pipe. 2. Power cord storage - with a uk plug on it you can’t tick it away. Would be nice to have some form of cable tidy. 3. It would be nice to have a removable tray inside in case of spillage - that said I’ve not spilt anything yet so possibly a mute point. A good piece of kit for sure.

I waited a lot of time to pick one of these machines. Did the research and this and another both seemed to regularly top the charts. However, the price was quite prohibitive. I picked this up for half-price and that is a great price for this. Works brilliantly. I now have a freezer full of nicely vacuumed packed food thanks to this and trying out new tricks as well. If you want one of these machines, don't pick up a cheap one, just wait until they bring this price back down.

Read loads of reviews and lots of information before choosing this model. At first, it looks like it seals fantastically well but next day when you look again...the tightness around the packaging is completely gone and you can pull apart the bond. The double seal both ends seem intact which is strange. The roll of plastic came with the product, so assumed it is their own make. It is not worn as it is new. The items were not wet that I sealed. There was no need to bend over the bag first as it was oxygen absorbers I was sealing...possibly now ruined. Millet spray that was tight as tight could be but next day just all normal again. In case I am doing something wrong, I will try once more, but then it is going back! Just very annoying. Have just typed in Anova not sealing and got loads of people with the exact same problem! That is what I will look for first when buying any other product before making up my mind from now on. If I get it working 100% I will rewrite my review but it seems simple to use, so just a bit puzzled and frustrated at the moment.

Nothing to dislike, you can have a roll of sealer bags within the machine ready to cut and seal, perfect use and very handy. Will work with most good sealer bags up to a good size and am so glad I Brought this one my previous vacuum sealer was a cheaper budget version which burn't my bags when sealing so I guess you get what you pay for. This one is worth every penny and more. A clear 5 star by a country mile.

Seems to do the job, although the vacuum seems to be slightly weaker on the moist mode, but that might be normal as it’s our first vacuum sealer but otherwise pleased with it so far. The double seal is great, give that extra confidence the vacuum will remain.

Delighted with this product, easy to use and works well.

Purchased this to replace a cheap initial vacuum sealer which had stopped sealing properly after several years. The double seal is a nice touch and the rolls are held firmly in place internally. So far very impressed and looking forward to using more to store bulk meat and cheese.

Arrived today. Gave it a test run on an open packet of spiral pasta and the suction is so good that, where the contents are breaking due to the suction pressure, the packet sounds like popping corn going off! PS Refuse to give Amazon access to photos…sorry folks! All in all, very happy with the product.
