I use this along with a couple of other things, for overall cleanliness of the water. My little baby snapper seems to be doing very well , and I already have a good filter and two other things I add to the water for treatments and cleanliness. This is a simple extra thing I decided to add just to keep things a bit cleaner. It dissolves slowly over time, so just pop one in and let it do its thing.

I purchased this for my daughter’s aquatic turtle, and it has made a noticeable difference in maintaining the cleanliness and health of her tank. This product is incredibly easy to use and has been a game-changer for our turtle care routine. The slow-release formula ensures consistent water conditioning, helping to control harmful bacteria and promoting a healthier environment for our turtle. I’ve noticed the water stays fresher for longer, which makes tank maintenance much easier. Our turtle seems happier and more active since we started using these. Overall, this is a reliable and effective product that I highly recommend to anyone with aquatic turtles. It’s a small investment for big results in tank health and turtle well-being.

These appear to condition the water. They dissolve easily and for a few days the water is clear and clean and does not smell. I think there should be at least four in a pack rather than three because for smaller tanks you would only need two which would mean you had an extra one to which you would have to buy another pack to use again. I can understand them wanting people to buy again but if it works well, people will buy again. However, it would be better to have more in a package.
