I am very happy with this! Using it to soften severely cracked heels and it's therapeutic properties in my skin care. It is known for its moisturizing, anti-inflammatory, and antioxidant effects, making it beneficial for conditions like dry skin, eczema, and minor wounds. I had ankle surgery and hoping it helps with the inflammation. It is greasy, be aware! Some people mix it with some other natural products to cut back on some grease. I am just applying it and rubbing it in and adding socks to let it sink in better. It has a slight smell that is not at all like perfume. It is not a wow smell or even nice but it is not awful by any means. I did notice that the sock will smell a bit unpleasant after it has had the shea butter in it but that just needs to be washed. Do not wash the socks with other items that might possibly get affected by the grease from the Shea Butter if you launder socks with other items. I always just wash socks with socks because I doubt the washing machine kills all of the bacteria. Handwashing is best but I sometimes get lazy and look for easier ways. It appears to be a high quality. I did read to NOT buy refined Shea Butter, this is NOT refined and I am happy. I saw several online articles recommend this brand as one of the better ones to choose from. Hopefully it is as good as it can get or close to that! We cannot trust magazines, etc. because they often don't test things thoroughly and reprint other people's opinions. I do think Shea butter does go bad after a time so keep it closed and check how to store it. I am keeping mine closed in the package that it came in, for now. I might transfer it to a glass dish (not plastic). Don't let air in if possible.

The smoothest, loveliest shea butter I've ever used (and I've used a lot - it's the only thing that moisturizes my skin). Not the least bit grainy, it has a wonderful, almost chocolatey scent. Definitely buying again!

I've tried a few soap recipes and found one in in love with. I use Raw African Shea Butter for 1/3 of the "solid fats" in the recipe. The result is a bar of soap that is very moisturizing and lasts a very long time. There isn't really a smell to shea butter so adding essential oils is really easy. The result is a product you'll absolutely want to keep making for yourself and others. The shea itself is super clean. My skin always feels great. Highly, HIGHLY recommend this shea butter.

Great product. I made me some body butter with this and I love the smell and softness it gives. I love the glow and feel of my skin when I put it on.

Very hydrating, but kinda has a funky aroma that sticks around, kinda smells like Playdoh. I made soap and put this in it and it overpowered the essential oils completely

Skin type: dry, dehydrated, and acne prone. The photo I took is a little desaturated so it is a little more yellow in person. The texture is smoother than other shea butters I've bought and much lighter in color. I will say it does have a pretty strong smokey smell but I assume it's from the processing. It does not smell like cigarette smoke at all as I've seen mentioned in other reviews. The smell isn't too strong to bother me. It still has the classic Shea butter smell it's just hard to pick it up under the smokey scent. I found that airing it out a little helped decrease the scent. It absorbes into my skin pretty well as the last step in my night routine and I'll use a smidgen before I put on my sunscreen in the morning. Overall it adds a nice glow without looking too greasy. I'll use Shea butter to "slug" since the classic products used break me out and this has actually helped clear up the worst of my acne. It's a great size if you use as is for skincare but for homemade skin products it'll probably run out pretty quickly depending on what you use it for. I'll probably stick with this store for the rest of my Shea butter purchases.

This is a loaf, lol. It's huge. Nothing will be wasted. Already made a beard balm with it. Super happy with quality and value. If hydrating is a problem then look no further. It's absolutely silk on the skin, absorption is healthy, and it gives my beard an amazing glow.

Excellent shea butter!!!! It has an slight earthy smell, but its not over powering. Its surprisingly soft, smooth, and easy to apply. It makes my body and face feel so soft and moisturized. The appearance of my skin is also improving as well...... I've read the bad reviews, but I can't agree with them. This is actually the best shea butter I have ever came across!!! Please don't stop making.

Makes my hair great. I have fine, porous, curly hair and when I do the mask, leave overnight then wash off my hair is amazing and the curls are tamed without frizz. I recommend.

I have ordered 3 times now and it is THE best quality. Since I have dry skin, I make my own mousturizing cream with shea butter and jojoba oil and it works wonders for my skin. This is the third winter I am using this. Too bad that it is currently unavailable.

Happy with the quality of the product thought it was expensive
