isn't it bad for your teeth to have these in your mouth all night ?

There is nothing in them to cause tooth damage and as others here have stated dry mouth is way worse for your teeth! You can stick them to gums, teeth or a combination of both.

What are the xylitol ingredients?

Xylitol 550mg plus other ingredients : Acacia gum, mild natural mint, cellulose gum, calcium carbonate, magnesium stearate (no percentages given for these other ingredients). Works well. Keeps mouth from getting dry. One tablet inserted between cheek and gum lasts at least an hour or two. Two at night lasts thru the night. It was recommended by my dentist because was developing too much tartar. This helps prevent tartar build up by keeping the mouth and teeth moist.

slightly sweet and mild mint both have 550 mg of xylitol so are they similarly sweet? i would have expected slightly sweet to be sweeter than mint.

I have used both. Prefer the slightly sweet. It is more mellow to me. Mild mint is ok, with a light minty taste. To me the sweetness level seems to be the same.

I use a mouth guard and a cpap machine…I suppose these cannot be used. Thoughts?

I don't know about the mouth guard but I wouldn't think that the cpap would be a problem. My husband sticks one on the outside of each upper mid-molar and against the cheek at night and they work pretty well.
