I learned this the hard way when I sliced off the end of my right ring finger trying to slice onions for burgers using my mandolin slicer. After a hurried trip to the ER and two weeks with a bandaged right hand, I ordered these. They fit quite well and are absolutely vital to keep your fingers and hands away from sharp knives and slicers! Never again!

The last time I cut my honeydew, I got careless that the knife slipped from the skin of the fruit and I hurt my pointing finger. Not a bad cut but it could have been worse. This was why I thought of buying this set of gloves. Not only for my own use but for my wife and children.
