Not sure about that one, I got it for my new zero turn.

Not pushing grease. Extend rod, it auto locks insert tube, remove cap, release, plunger, and it gently goes in without any force. No grease comes out.

I had a similar problem with a grease gun I purchased. I thought I was going crazy. Finally returned it and purchased another which works fine. I did change brands though.
