I was initially very hesitant to buy this cable. My Sony Cybershot seems ancient at this point, and I was just crossing my fingers that I picked the correct data cord and that the camera would actually recognize it. I really needed it to work, especially since my current computer dock does not accept those old Sony ProDuo memory cards. I took a leap of faith, and lo and behold, it works perfectly! As soon as I plugged it into my computer, the camera began to talk to it right away, and my older pictures were finally transferred into my photo library. The cord was only $7.99, but honestly, that cost is absolutely trivial compared to getting back those priceless memories. If you have an old Cybershot sitting around with photos trapped on it, don't hesitate.

Great quality these are hard to find most big box stores do not carry the correct cord

Llegó en tiempo y forma sin ningún defecto. Tenía miedo a que no le quedará al modelo de mi cámara porque es un modelo un poco viejo pero me arriesgué a comprarlo y le quedó perfecto, mi cámara es una Sonny cyber-shot dsc-h90.

I bought this cable to download the picture from my Sony Cybershot DSC-W530. Works perfectly for that function. The cable also claims to double as a battery charger. I haven't found that function, but then the original Sony cable didn't claim to charge so it might be a function which is limited to certain models of Cybershot. Cable works for me for the purpose of photo download.
