Yes, it produces a distressed fawn call and with a lighter blow on the call it produces something similar to a distressed cottontail call.

Q: does it come with a lanyard ?

I don't think it does. It has a molded plastic loop to run a string or a length of paracord through. I have mine on paracord with some other calls.

Q: Can this be used to call wolves

It hasn’t worked for coyotes, so maybe it will help for wolves. But all seriousness, I don’t know.
