Will the scent deter them from the area or just scratching at the item sprayed?

Hello C. Logan,Thank you for your question. It depends on the sensitivity of your cat - while very sensitive cats will avoid the area entirely, the product is primarily designed to stop furniture and carpet scratching.Best Regards,KellyPet MasterMind Loyal Customer Care

Where is this product made?

According to the bottle, Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

With all wooden floors and leather couch...It does not stain either of those. There are no drapes and theres only wooden blinds so the cal does not bother those.

Can this be used on leather furniture?

It’s kinda gummy. Left a funky residue on my couch. I wouldn’t recommend. Plus it doesn’t work.
