MicroBacter Clean Marine Aquarium Cleaner Aid, 250 ml

I dose Clean once a week. I haven't cleaned my glass in few weeks, but all the buildup scraped off with the magnetic cleaner. No need for the razer blades.

I was a bit skeptical to use in my reef tanks. Started and continued dosing at about half of what was recommended for normal use and did not see immediate results. I'm always cautious about overdosing anything. After several weeks of use I did notice that I did not need to clean by glass as often. Then what what really prompted me to write this review was that after few moths of use this product seemed to kill off cyano that was lingering in my fuge with which I was struggling for about a year. The microalgae in the fuge took off growing where before that wasn't the case. And skimmer is now working extra hard removing thick sludge. This also happened at a time when my tank was due for monthly water change and there was no other change in my maintenance routines for a while. This product will definitely be something I will continue to use after weekly skimmer cup cleaning.

This stuff works great! Had a problem with diatoms and hair algae. Thought about chemically treating my tank to fix it but ran across this stuff. After about a 2 weeks diatoms population diminished dramatically. After a month they are completely gone. Hair algae still persists but has not grown out of control. Also like other reviews state, my protein skimmer is working way more efficiently now. It has been about 3 weeks since I used the last part of the bottle and my tank has maintained stability. Highly recommend this product for getting past the ugly phase or naturally cleaning your tank.

I use several bacteria products. They won’t work fast but combined with good maintenance they really do work on keeping a tank looking sharp.

This stuff is no joke, my tank and rock work were getting this build up of milk on them so I dosed this every other day for a week and it has done an amazing job restoring the rock to a nice clean brand new appearance.

After a decade reefing, "nothing good happens fast" is pretty much the proven, golden rule. Yet after 3 doses (5ml per gal, once per week) this wiped out all the turf algae like a switch. I was stunned. Stuff that grew everywhere - sand, shade, rocks, coral - just disappeared. *Note that I did resolve the major detritus issues first*, but within 3 days of blowing the rocks off, they would still be covered in sheet-like green algae. On the 3rd weekly water change, I dosed as usual and the algae just vanished. Clean as much as you can, follow the instructions and stay the course. Great product, and I'll continue to use it.

Works very well I do notice growth with my corals

My review reflects the the experience with Amazon and the seller, not the overall quality of the product. As a product I have been using MBC for a very long time and it works wonders! However this time I was sent an open bottle with no seal, heavily clouded and contaminated. THANK GOD I did not put this in my tank. BE CAREFUL ORDERING BACTERIA FROM AMAZON I WILL GIVE THEM ONE MORE CHANCE TO MAKE THIS RIGHT

Great for the tank

Use very little and get great results with this product Starting a reef tank, a must have

The product arrived with a cracked cap and there is no safety seal on the bottle. The product had leaked a bit and is all over the bottle and box.

Spot on

This appears to have cleaned up my sand in my mixed reef tank.
