Ultrazymes-Ultimate Digestive Enzyme Complex/ 60 Capsules

Description

As you age it becomes harder to enjoy a meal without suffering from some type of digestive discomfort. The reason is that every 10 years of life the pancreas produces fewer digestive enzymes. In addition, our modern diets are largely void of natural plant enzymes. This overall lack of enzymes causes the body to work harder, putting a strain on our internal organs and digestive system. This results in problems such as heartburn and bloating, but can also lead to more serious digestive problems. Food enzymes are released by the action of chewing, which ruptures the food's cell membranes. Like salivary enzymes, raw food enzymes play an important role in human digestion by predigesting food in the upper stomach, where contents may sit for as long as an hour before gastric secretions begin their action. Since enzymes are essentially destroyed at 118ºF, most forms of cooking and industrial food preparation render food devoid of enzyme activity. This places the full burden of digestion on body processes and reserves. In time, this burden can weaken or overwhelm an individual's ability to process and absorb the vital food nutrients we need. Many nutritional experts believe that the prevalence of cooked and processed foods in modern society makes supplementation with digestive enzymes essential. Digestive enzymes also may be of benefit to those who experience poor digestion and absorption. Healthy Choice Naturals Ultra-Zymes digestion complex contains a powerful, broad spectrum of enzymes that go to work fast to help you to digest protein, fat, carbohydrates and fiber. If you are seeking relief from burning, bloating, heartburn, or digestive problems, Ultra-Zymes is the answer.
