Do you put the cap on top of your regular plastic cap or just out your hair in it?

I like to put a shower cap under my hair. It works just fine!

how can I clean it if I do an oil treatment on my hair/ conditioner?

For my hot oil treatment, I personally use a grocery bag over my oily hair, tie it in a knot toward the front of my face. Squeeze out the the excessive air in the bag, then place the cap over the plastic bag ..I wouldn't have to clean it. but if it did get some oil on it.. I'd just use some dish soap and wash by hand.

Any alternate heating options? Can it be out in a dryer?

I use large pasta cooking pot (with inner slatted pot) and fill it about three quarter with water. Heat the water to boiling and turn it off. Put the cap upside down in the hot water avoiding filling inside of the cap with water. Let the cap float for about five minutes. Drain it well before putting it on. Stays hot/warm for about 15 to 20 minutes.

Will it fit over curlers?

not at all, fits on my head perfect, but like I said very heavy,only used once.

Gets the job done and worth the money!

I think this cap will really boost my hair care routine! It gets warm enough to wear while doing other things and it’s easy to use. I just wish it wasn’t so snug. Otherwise it’s perfect!
