Tight seal, good quality
They are about what I expected. Solid, not flimsy, and the lid seals tightly. Perhaps I should have bought a smaller pack of them. I use them to house logs for geocaches, and so far the logs stay dry.

Just what I needed
I purchased this product to make chemical rocket engines for grade 5 science. The containers held together well and all but 1 will be reusable for future students.

Profoundly disappointing
Of the 60 canisters received, 3 had a water tight seal, and several were damaged.

Bad for Alka Seltzer Rockets
I bought these to replace some of our old canisters that we use for creating pressure "rockets" with alkaline seltzer and water - I teach science and have done this lab for 20 years. We ended up using the old canisters this year because the lids were incredibly hard to remove - I had to use a key to take them off after each use. Because the lid is so tight, many of the rockets didn't pressurize enough to launch at all. I really need to find the old ones. If you need these to hold items in a tight container, these are ok. The lids need a larger diameter lip in order to get them to pull of by hand.
