A perfect introduction for how the Internet Of Things work! perfect gift for an early teen
This is a VERY solid course to learn about the Internet Of Things! I would highly recommend it. I did not have any complications with any of their instructions.

Not a lot of instructions
Make sure you change the baud rate to 9600 in both the code and the serial monitor because otherwise it will not work and you will scour the internet for answers. If you see a 115200 change it to 9600 and that's what got it working for me, there's no troubleshooting page for it that I could find. If no shield is detected make sure you check that the button that's on the shield is off otherwise the Arduino won't communicate with the shield. Also this will not work with 5G internet only 2.4 so make sure you use that. Other than that stuff seems good so far. Edit: I set it up with Blynk which was a bit of a hassle but you can find some code on their website for it if you really search. It's easier if you set Blynk up from the app just the template but when it comes to set it up with the Arduino get the authentication token using a computer.

retracting previous review - actually pretty cool
this is a pretty good, inexpensive way to dip your feet into the arduino world. i had been wanting to learn how to use these for a while and found this. the instructions stink, and the web site is useless. make sure you install the libraries in the first tutorial - it's the only place they're mentioned. i skipped ahead and got pretty frustrated - every project wastes space telling you to install the ide, attach the wifi shield, but only one place mentions the necessary preliminaries. but it works well, within the limits of arduino, and the projects are actually kinda fun, although the sensors included are wildly inaccurate.

Fun but need some online support
The first two lessons worked as expected but I'm having trouble with the internet connection on the third. Tried to find some support online but didn't find any. Still finding it interesting.

Great product, fare price
This product is a really good kit that provides the opportunity to jump into those Arduino tutorials you can on online or in books. The price is good and it has all the elements to start developing a good knowledge in Arduino. Everything comes well packed and well identified, it has a fare price.
