Is this headset good for music too?

YES I USE MINE FOR MY LAPTOP LISTENING TO MUSIC. ONLY DOWN SIDE IS NO VOLUME CONTROL ON HEADSET.

Is the headset a good size over the head? As I have a pretty big head and want to make sure it'll fit

I found it a little snug for myself, so had to return plus it also hurt my ear as the cushions were not lose around the ears. If you have a big head, I would say not a good idea but then again you can always return if it does not fit you well. :)
