They seem to perform as expected but don't readily dissolve under the tongue.
I believe they work but they don't dissolve very well under the tongue. Then again the instructions indicate that you only keep it under the tongue for a couple minutes then swallow. I'm not used to that for sublingual tablets so I just keep it under my tongue for the 12 or so minutes.

Controls my blood sugar better than any other brand.
I was unable to take Metformin due to severe GI issues. My endocrinologist suggested trying Berberine. I was so pleased with how this product has helped me keep my blood sugar within normal limits. I went to reorder it and Amazon was out. I tried another brand and there was a definite difference. My blood sugar crept back up. When Amazon got this back in stock I reordered and put it on a subscription. I've been taking it again for two weeks and my blood sugar has dropped drastically. I would suggest anybody who cannot take Metformin to give this a try.

Cut down my cholesterol
This is great! It moved my cholesterol back into normal range. I am very pleased. I wish I would have tried this before letting doctors put me on statins.

Effective in managing symptoms.
My last physicals indicated slightly elevated blood sugar and A1C. Not quite to the point of pre-diabetes but something to be concerned about especially since I was experiencing chronic itching and tingling in one of my feet. After a little research it seemed that Berberine and Ceylon Cinnamon were helpful in reducing blood sugar. After a month or so, my foot was no longer bothering me. I haven't followed up with updated blood tests, but suspect there has been improvement. All in all, I think the product is a great augment.
