Would this harness work for a dog who is always 10 meters behind you and you have to chivvy (drag) him along?

Yes, provided you have fitted it properly, I have the opposite problem with my dog, he would like to be 10 metres ahead!

I have one of these but not sure what size it is to re-order. The padded area measuring from middle of 'Y' to middle of 'T' is 25cm.

We have a small for our mini schnauzer and that measures 22.5cm from y-t, so maybe yours is a medium? You can always look back on your Amazon history to see what size you ordered. Hope this helps!?

How far is it from edge front to where the lead attachment is. I have a dog raincoat with hole for the lead to go through.

Hello. It is about 26cm from edge front to where the lead attachment is.
