This is the perfect size, not bulky, at all. The texture of the Lambskin leather is unique and very appealing to the eye and touch. It's just simply elegant and functional. I'd purchase at least one other color, if it was available( burgundy, brown).. Love the fact that the handles are sturdy and make this bible cover easy to carry. Great item.

I bought this item for my bible so I could carry it by hand held handles. One handle broke after a few uses. Not a good product!!

Bought this to go with a George Lamsa Peshitta Bible (dimensions 1.9 x 6.5 x 9.2 inches) and this cover fits nicely. Going to order a 2nd cover to go with the hard cover Precise Parallel NT Bible I also purchased (dimensions 9.2 x 6.8 x 1.5 inches). It's a decent, no-frills lambskin cover, dyed black, with handle straps. No extra pockets. The zipper is a little difficult to get started around this large book, but I'll put a bigger pull fob on it and that should solve that problem.

Finally a bible cover/purse that fits my bible. I love the leather and the soft feel of it. It fits so beautifully that I keep it on all the time without taking it out from frustration like I have with my other bible cases/covers. I also really like the handle being on edge the way it is instead of on the back binding like some handles are. Very nice bible purse.

The item is nice and well made, very attractive. The problem is that it will not fit a large-size Bible. Got this for my Mom to use with her large print Bible and it does not fit. I used the dimensions given here and thought it would fit, but those must be the outer dimensions of the product and not the size of the Bible that can go inside. No way the Bible fits in there. If you have one of those larger Bibles, you need to keep looking for a cover as this will not work for you.

This bible case is made out of a sturdy leather that fits all the way around most reference size bibles. In particular, it will fit the New World Translation. The case has great handles that have withstood harsh abuse, and the outside of the case has yet to rip after a year of use. Honestly, the handles are the best part of this case. The zipper also seems well-made and it has yet to have any problems. However my one complaint is that the inside lining that keeps it wrapped around the bible has a tendency to be rip at the seams. You should be careful when inserting a bible into the case, or removing it as this lining will break with a minimum amount of force. Despite that fact, so far I have ordered 8 of these cases for friends and family and everyone has been very satisfied with them.

After a couple of false starts, I found this bible cover that holds my big study bible. It's still a bit tight and I can't get anything else in the cover, but the handles make carrying it and my other things to church much easier. This was a good buy.

The quality is good but it's not purple as shown in the picture so I was disappointed about that because I wanted it to match my church colors. Other than that it is great! My bible is kinda large but it fits in there perfectly. For the price & quality I would give it 5 stars but I rated it lower due to feeling mislead about the color.
