Is there a strong peach scent?

No, there's not a "fruity" type smell at all. Hard to describe a smell with words, but I'd say that it was on the heavier and spicier side of the spectrum.

is this a counterfeit product? how is this less expensive?

I provided this product as a gift to somebody. They believe it might be a fake. I cannot be sure. PerhAps the seller will respond.
