The black parts of the case (top & bottom) are plastic and have zero effect on the WiFi signal. The cooling benefits from the case are insane. I've got a couple of the new Zero 2 Wireless in these cases and none have any issues. Beautiful construction not only giving protection to the Raspberry Pi but also providing a superb passive cooling heatsink.
