Our 14 lb Turkish Van mix was breaking out of other harnesses (including Rabbitgoo purchased on here), but when we found this one we quickly realized it was the right one. If he tugs on it, the clasp stays connected to the two rings on the harness part. Even if he ends up behind me and starts backing up in attempt to slip out of it, I have plenty of time to get behind him so he can’t get out of it. We’ve had it for about half a year and he has not broken out of it. He won’t step into the harness willingly even though he begs to go out, so I put his front arms through the two holes and velcro it shut tightly, but not too tight. He wobbles at first but gets used to it quickly and looooves going on his daily walks. I feel like he is very safe and secure. This harness and leash were worth the money!

I probably could have ordered down a size but I think it will be fine. His neck was a smaller size in comparison to his chest on the size chart. I couldn't find the size chart anywhere on this listing so I went directly to Travel Cat's website for that part. We took the cat out on a walk today and he enjoyed the harness. I did put the leash on and did a pull test on him before leaving and I think he'd really have to put some effort in to escape this. It seems like the part by arms fits just fine to keep him from backing up out of it. Overall, he loves it. For reference, he's about 15lbs. I wouldnt say he's fat, just big bodied and fluffy.

Great harness, fits securely. I ordered a small and received a medium but thankfully have two different sized cats so it did fit one of them but not the one I was buying this for. Ill just buy another one and hopefully get an actual small next time!

I have 2 kittens that are 8 months old. The small fits the 9lbs kitten perfectly and will prob fit her up to about 12 lbs and she does not wiggle her way out of it. I prob should have bought an x-small for her 7lbs sister. The size small is a little bit big on her and does not hit her shoulders in the right spot. Her front legs have wiggled out of it several times until she is wearing it like a belt around her middle. I am sure she will grow into it but I may buy an x-small to wear until then. Overall, happy with the purchase

My cat was super hesitant to wear this, which seemed totally normal so I introduced it slowly and eventually got him to wear it for up to 30 minutes but he wouldn't walk straight, kept falling over, and couldn't climb his cat tree. He also was able to pull his "arms" out of the harness even when snug- when trialing in the house. Size guide is slightly off- runs large. If you cat is more calm/chill, maybe it'll work for you, but my cat hated this one.

I never expected my cats to find them this comfortable, my nebulung gets a confidence boost when she's in her harness which is just cute coming from such a shy girl. Still waiting on my Siamese boy to grow up before i order his size. but so far, they seem durable, safe, easy, fast & functional with plenty of colors & options to pick from (kinda wish there was a spooky season additions) but overall Great value for money.

DO NOT BUY - MY CAT SLIPPED OUT EASILY!! Put this on my cat according to the instructions. The first few times were fine but the third time i took him outside, he slipped himself out and chased after a bird! The harness was attached snug according to the instructions as well. The way that this harness holds the cat’s body and arms just doesnt work for cats. This is more of a dog harness because its definitely not cat escape proof. Luckily my cat got scared from my screams and ran back inside however i will be returning this immediately. Now my cat is scared :(

I love this harness, my cat can't escape from this one, and there's room for his future growth. It's nice and light and breathable as we get hot summers here in Australia. Will send a pic of him wearing it when my kitty arrives. (Tried it on my older cat it's very comfortable for him). Thank for a great product!

I really liked this product.

My boy Sully is 20lbs (we’re on a diet) and he measured at 19 inches around his chest. I got the large. I could tighten it a bit more but it fits him well and looks comfier than the traditional strapped harnesses. Feels sturdy. He looks like a cool dude

My 12ish pound tuxedo has a bit of a belly going on and medium was just right for her. The harness is easy on/off after a few practice tries. It's well made, she can't wiggle her way out of it, and it's stylish as fluff. Would buy again.
