Absolute quality. Perfected.
I actually just got the whole shabang. Brush, cedarwood oil and balm. Its spectacular. I have bought and blown through and thrown away several beard products, I've pitched brushes, given away combs, dumped oils down the sink or gave them to a friend. This is legit. The oil and balm are the best scented products I've yet to purchase hands down, the brush is contoured and actually feels great on my face. The other one I had from another seller could double as a shoe brush its so rigid. But these products are great and you can tell this company cares about quality, everything I ordered arrived right on time, the packaging is always the first clue if you got something worth your money or a piece of trash and this packaging was flawless and professional and as much as I am pleased with that the products inside the packaging are of even higher quality. Can't say enough good things, if you are on the fence and don't know where to start with beard products don't waste anymore of your time looking, Rocky Mountain Barber is quality and will be my go to brand moving forward for sure. Thanks for awesome products and legitimate customer service.

This really seems to be a great product.
I need to start out saying that this is my first beard oil and I have a short beard. I hadn't been using beard oil and noticed that this stuff made my beard feel much softer. There is not much more that I need to add about the performance; it worked well and I do not have any complaints at all. I am always a little skeptical when I read someone posting about the smell of a product being faint. I am the type of person who will go through 20 types of body wash to find one that doesn't have a strong scent. In short, I am extremely sensitive to smells. When I tried this beard oil, I was surprised and relieved. The smell is a faint woodsy smell that is extremely pleasant. The smell is faint enough that I forget about the scent shortly after applying it, but my wife can still smell it on my beard long afterwards. I haven't tried other beard oils and I honestly do not feel the need to do so. This really seems to be a great product.

This is great oil but I feel that it's lacking when it ...
Smell: Outdoorsy and reminds me of pine needles. Quality: Compared to low quality beard oil this stuff rocks. Does it condition your beard? Yes! Does it help get rid of beard dandruff? Yes! Why 4 stars? This is great oil but I feel that it's lacking when it comes to the small stuff. The dripper tube can be a hassle when it comes to putting on the oil. When your hands are lubed up you can forget to screw the top back on. I knocked it over one time and lost a good amount of it because I left it ajar. The carpet smelled good but I don't like the dripper as it can lead to operator error.

Great buy
This is really a great product. The product came in a timely fashion and comes in a nice box. I would recommend giving this a try. The oil itself is stored in a small dropper. It is easy enough to drip it out into your hand in the volume you'll need. It keeps my beard moisturized without making it too oily. After using for a few days, my beard is much less itchy and easier to manage. Before, combing my beard had little effect but now it stays in place nicely. The smell of the product is also pretty nice. It is strongly cedar/woodsy scented, so if that appeals to you, this is good. It starts out very heavy on scent and slowly fades to a less pungent smell, so someone has to get fairly close to your face to be able to smell it.

ROTTEN MARIJUANA
Bought this for two reasons...First, I wanted a good beard oil...Second, I wanted a good cedar scent...This product did not deliver both, so it gets 3 stars... The oil is quite good...It has many more useful ingredients than what you'll find in the majority of the competition's products (see picture for ingredients)...Usually, beard oils only contain the absolute minimum ingredients of Argan oil, and Jojoba oil...That's it, and that's why most of them suck... This oil is nice and thick, so it will penetrate deeper on skin and hair, and stick around longer on your beard...You shouldn't find that your beard feels dry in the middle of the day when using this product... Have to imagine that 99% of you guys know how to apply oil to your to your beard, but just in case you are new to beard products, I'll go over it anyway... Oil Application 101 Dose -About one dropper full per inch of length...For one inch and under one dropper full is more than enough...One inch but thick and one dropper will just be enough... Getting in on-Make a cup of your palm to hold the oil...Take your free hand and hold underneath while you turn the oiled hand over...Rub together...Pat each oiled hand randomly over your beard a few times to ensure it will be everywhere...Now work from bottom up in circles for a few seconds, then dig in with your fingertips...That should do it... Back to reviewing the product...The oil aspect is great, but 50% of the reason for buying was for the advertised scent...This is where two stars fall off...It smells absolutely nothing like cedar...Took a while to put my finger on the familiar smells this stuff gives off...The resulting mixture is kinda weird... First scent-Earth...Not "earthy" but earth...What does that mean? Go into a forest, move aside leaves, twigs, and other debris...Get a handful of soil and smell it...That's what I mean by "earth"...This smell quickly dies off though...Maybe ten minutes or so... Second scent-Marijuana gone bad...Seriously, it smells a lot like old, rotten marijuana...If it smelled like good, fresh pot I might have given this "cedarwood" four stars, but it's not a pleasant smell...Anyway, this second scent of rancid marijuana is what it smells like for the rest of the day after the sharp smell of soil wears off... Can't really reccomend this product since half of it's purpose fails, but there are much worse oils out there... What I can reccomend though, is this company's "Sandalwood" beard oil...Same oil benefits as this product, but with a great scent that actually smells as advertised...They hit one out of the park with that product !!! Hope this helps... Good luck !!!

The right oil for me.....
Most beard oils with natural or similar ingredients as Rocky Mountain Beard oil are as "good" for my skin and beard as this is. The major difference is that some beard oils are too thick and some are too watery or thin. Some have scents that I don't care for, some do and some don't have much scent at all. This stuff is just right and has become my favorite. I love the cedar and pine scent and that this oil is not too thick and greasy nor too thin and watery. Of course everyone has their own preference to what scents they like and this is what I think sets any beard oil apart from the other because most of them with natural ingredients are all the same when it comes to making my beard soft and keeping me from flaking or itching.

A True Godsend!
Love this product! I have suffered from facial dermatitis for years and when I decided to grow a beard I read all kinds of stories about how awful that would be for my dermatitis. I could not find one article that said this would be a good move. In doing my homework I discovered that many men with beards suffer from dry skin as that is simply a byproduct of growing a beard. So add that to my condition and it seemed like growing a beard would only be disastrous. WRONG! Not only does my beard look great but my skin underneath has never been healthier. I chalk this up to three things. 1), the beard protects my skin from many of the nasty elements in our environment, including the sun, 2) shaving leaves your skin vulnerable to all kinds of bacteria due to the hundreds of little microcuts that happen each time you shave, which apparently irritated my dermatitis, and 3) the use of Rocky Mountain Cedarwood Beard Oil! It contains tree tea oil which has been known to help improve skin conditions. I use it twice daily and it helps tremendously. When I don't use it the skin under my beard becomes dry and irritated, exacerbating my dermatitis. The barber that trims my beard said that "the skin under my beard was really healthy." Wow, never thought I would hear that! This product has been a Godsend for me and I recommend it to every man who dawns a beard, even if your skin is normally healthy without the beard. The oil will keep your beard and skin soft, and help alleviate dry skin and beard itch. I also recommend using a really good beard wash at least a couple of times a week. I use Rocky Mountain Cedar Spice Beard Wash.

Great product. Softer, shinier beard with a great smell.
I'm new to the beard oil game but not to essential oils, and this is a very balanced mix of skin nourishing carrier oils and awesome smelling essential oils. It leaves my beard easy to comb, shinier, softer, and there's a nice cedar fragrance that lasts for hours after putting it on. The packaging is top notch as well. There's a very easy to use glass dropper, and the case is much nicer than you'd expect at the price point. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this to a friend.

A nice moisturizing oil
A quality oil with a really nice balanced cedarwood scent. Whether it's going on my beard, mustache, or freshly shaved scalp. Originally I was using Honest Amish oil but wanted a Canadian made one instead, and have been more than happy with this one's performance and especially the scent. I originally bought a pack of their sample oils, which I recommend so you can experience all their scents to find the one you like best. A nice quality oil at a fair price supporting Canadian workers and Canadian business, you really can't go wrong with it at all.

I like that they use an "eye dropper" bottle for the ...
After much research, my first purchase of a beard care product for my new beard was Rocky Mountain Barber Co. Cedarwood Beard Oil and Cedarwood Beard Balm. Deciding factors were the all natural ingredients, the range of essential oils they use, the high ratings of users, that they are Canadian, and their pricing. As for the product in use, I like that they use an "eye dropper" bottle for the oil, the oil absorbs well and, after excess is rubbed through hair and then onto my arms, there is no oily excess remaining on my hands. Same for excess balm, which is not at all "greasy". The balm seems to have a very low melting point, making application easy. While I found the oil's scent mild, cedary, and very pleasant, it was not so much so with the balm. Although not an unpleasant scent, I couldn't pick out any cedar wood scent. I also found it strong. I reminded myself that I haven't worn any scents in decades so applying the balm to the hair under my nostrils would be strong. My spouse quite liked the scent and had to get close to smell it. The balm doesn't mat down my stray, wiry hairs. It's not supposed to: while it contains beeswax, it is not "a wax". It does provide mild control and it and the oil do soften the hairs and take great care of my skin. When it was time to get more balm, I had come to quite like the scent and decided to get more Rocky Mountain Cedarwood. However, I mistakenly ordered Sandalwood. A happy mistake, it smells great! It is also a much stronger and longer-lasting scent than the Cedarwood. The Sandalwood does have added natural sandalwood scent. E-mailing the company, I learned that the added scent is < 1% of the volume of the balm and is added because the scent of the essential oil was found to be too mild. I think they could probably half the added scent. Rocky Mountain was very generous in helping me correct my mistaken order. When my Cedarwood balm arrived, I was very pleasantly surprised to find that it had a very nice and definite cedar wood scent. While I expect that I will sample other companies' beard oils and balms, I will definitely continue to use Rocky Mountain's products.

Good beard oil!
I've been trying a number of different beard oil brands over the last 6 months or so, just to be able to compare different ones to see what I like. I've ended up with some I like, some I don't like, some that are just OK. This cedarwood oil from Rocky Mountain Barber Co is one of my favorites so far. It's doesn't leave my beard feeling oily or weighed down, but seems to be very moisturizing, and helps to tame the frizzy bits of my less-than-well-behaved beard. It doesn't manage it like a balm does, but it definitely helps. And perhaps most importantly, the scent is really nice. It's very present, but not at all over-powering. I only took a star off as it sort of seemed like my bottle was a bit under-filled. It definitely wasn't a full bottle, but perhaps the bottles are a bit over-sized, I'm not sure. I didn't attempt to measure how much oil was in the bottle.

Smells Great, Keeps Skin and Beard Soft
The cedarwood scent is great and does not linger too long. You'll definitely feel a difference in how your beard and skin feels as the oil makes sure that they stay soft throughout the day. The eyedropper is my favourite method of administering the oil as I have used other oils with worse forms of administering. I've been using the oil daily for over a month and I still have a bit more to go that should last me a couple more weeks. My beard is short overall but still needs more than the 2 or so drops that are recommended by the bottle. I would use anywhere between 5-10 drops to make sure my skin is properly moisturized. Basically, I'll take enough oil in my palm to make up the size of a nickel, rub that in my hands and then into my beard, and then take another nickel worth to use anywhere else that I missed. Love the oil, will definitely be buying again and try out the other scents. Love the fact that they're Canadian too.

How could this be so high in product recommandations
It's my first beard, covid made me grow it hehe. But I am quite into gooming for a very long time. Beard is pretty long now and I kinda like it, so I decided to maintain it a little better. Since I'm new to this, I bought what Amazon suggested me. Gawd I was wrong. First, the smell is quite faint. It smells woodsy, but it smells like damp wood, not like fresh cut lumber. Those guys don't master the art of a fragrance at all, they just mixed some essential oils togheter, that's it. And the smell (hopefully in this case) doesn't last. After 20 minutes, it's gone... even if I used their matching soap. I told myself maybe it was me, my hair type, but I gave them to a friend and he told me the exact same thing. So I decided to buy stuff from my grooming company of choice for years, Henri and Victoria, to see if it was just my beard or the product. I ordered oil and beard wash (Nautilus Scent)... Wow, what a difference. The oil works amazingly, moisturizes the beard, keeps it in amazing shape for a very long period, and fragrance besides be fact it smells amazing (but that's personal to me), it lasts for nunerous hours. I'd say if you want to pay that price for oil/beard wash, because their price is pretty premium, go for something that really comes from great artisans.
