Yeti 20 oz locally and this one looked just like the Yeti in pictures so I thought I would ... - I bought this one because I couldn't get a Yeti 20 oz locally and this one looked just like the Yeti in pictures so I thought I would try it out. I filled it up with ice cubes and put some tea in it. I used the same ice for 27 hours before there was just a small amount left that I dumped out before going to bed the second night. I refilled with tea four times during this time. I'm happy with it's cold performance but have not tried it with anything hot yet. I found their website online and emailed them to inquire about buying an extra lid in case I lose or damage this one but no one has responded in several days so I'm not impressed with their customer service and would probably not buy another one because of this. There are too many other Yeti knock offs on the market right now to buy from someone who doesn't respond to their emails and customer service is important to me. There is no phone number to call so email is the only contact information. I wanted to add some quick weight comparisons to the 20 oz Yeti Rambler that I just received. The Eskimo Tumbler is slightly heavier than the Yeti. The Eskimo Tumbler without the lid weighed 10.9 ounces vs the 10.7 of the Yeti. The Eskimo lid weighed 1.8 ounces vs the 1.6 of the Yeti. Total weight, Eskimo 12.7 ounces vs 12.3 for the Yeti. The middle section of the Eskimo lid looks thicker than the same area on the Yeti lid which may account for the weight difference between lids. The Eskimo lid also fits tighter in both Tumblers compared to the Yeti lid in both tumblers. I hope Eskimo will eventually offer replacement lids for their tumblers as I think their lid is a little better than Yeti's. I weighed everything on a Royal postal scale. I did purchase my Yeti Tumbler off of Yeti's website for $29.99 + shipping and taxes for $35.80 total. This is cheaper than the Eskimo version which is on sale for $39.99 on their website unless you buy two Eskimo Tumblers for $20 off two products for your first purchase on their site. Review: Performs like a normal tumber but performance is not as advertised - I bought this hoping for a cheaper "yeti". When I first recieved it, I filled it up with room temperature water and threw in 5 ice cubes. 3 hours later, the ice melted about 30%. Sure, you could argue that I started with room temp water but at that rate I doubt it would hold up to the "GUARANTEED TO KEEP ICE FROZEN FOR UP TO 72 HOURS" as advertised. I mainly wanted to use this at the office to keep my tea hot. It will stay pretty hot in the first hour. After 3 hours my tea remained comfortably warm. Overall it seems to work like a regular tumbler. I feel like my 3 star rating is a little high considering it doesn't uphold the advertised performance but I was kind of expecting this to be a let down and was at least hoping for a normal tumbler at best.

Wanting a good quality double walled drink container
Wanting a good quality double walled drink container, I purchased the DRENCH 30 oz., Iceberg 30 oz., and the Eskimo 20 oz. cooler. So far, I have only tried the Eskimo but I have to say I love it. Just after midnight, I placed some crushed ice and a few ice cubes plus sugar free lemonade in the cooler and put on the lid. At 7 a.m., there was still enough ice to keep the drink really cold. I'm impressed! In addition to the lid that comes with the cooler, there should be one with a slide that covers the drinking hole. I have only tried the DRENCH for hot coffee and I gave that one four stars because the hot coffee was just warm after seven hours. I've not yet used the Iceberg. For cold drinks, the Eskimo is great!

Better than a yeti (kinda)
I love this cup! Keeps things just as cold as my mom's yeti but it's cheaper and there aren't any logos/writing on the outside (which I prefer). Might get another for my bf in the future! Update: After removing the lid a few times it felt like it was flimsy and might break. I noticed some micro fractures in the plastic. I did drop it once and a big crack formed. Still usable, but I wanted a replacement and no lids of the exact same style were available online (I didn't want the slide feature). I contacted the company and they said they don't offer a replacement of the exact lid it comes with. I still like this cup, but I'm disappointed that I can't get extra lids.

Didn't hold up
This cup was great for the first month, then gradually kept drink less cool. Now my ice melts within a few hours. Just past the 30 day return window. I'm disappointed that this cup did not hold up like it promised!! Wish I could return and try another brand.

Best I've found
This is a great tumbler for hot or cold drinks. It's built much like a lab dewer that would be used for liquefied air. I can't imagine how one could insulate one better without making it unusably large for the volume it holds. Absolutely no sweating or heat gain/loss I can feel from the main body of the tumbler. As for the lid.... I love it. Stout like the cooler itself. Seals with a rubber o-ring you wouldn't want any tighter. As for spill proof it's not designed to be, it's designed to lower heat gain/loss through convection and reduce spillage from sloshing. If you tip it over it will leak from the opening. If I drive like a maniac with 16 oz of hot coffee in it - no prob. If it's upright it's not leaking. Frankly I've never met a "spill proof" lid that truly was and remained usable for me. This is the lid I'd design. It is a bit pricey seeming, but I've broken or thrown away enough beverage holders to buy a dozen of these. The build is really solid and attractive. I've found my sweet spot.

Doesn't keep temperatures as advertised
Okay, the claims of keeping drinks cold for 72 hours and hot drinks hot for 24 hours are totally bogus. I put soda with ice in it about two hours ago, and while it's still cold right now, the ice has completely melted. I'm not too upset about that because it's rare that I would have any drink last that long anyway, and I only use it at home, but I don't think it would hold up well for those taking it to work and wanting it to stay cold for eight hours or so. It's also not really 20 ounces. It only comfortably holds about 16 ounces of liquid. That being said, it works about as well as any other normal thermos. I like the way it looks and it's easy to clean. I can use it for iced coffee, rinse it out really well, then use it for iced tea with no coffee odor or taste mixed in with my tea, so I plan to actually wash it with dish soap every two days or so, and just rinse it out and reuse it otherwise.

Pretty disappointed with this product
Pretty disappointed with this product. I like the size and it's nice looking... but doesn't work at all. I own a yeti tumbler, which truly keeps my ice the same and drink cold for over a day in the deep south heat, but when using this cup, my ice completely melts within my 30 minute walk to work. I'm originally from Louisiana and this cup wouldn't last 10 minutes outside in that heat, since it doesn't even survive an hour in Chicago weather.
