REVLON One-Step Volumizer Original 1.0 Hair Dryer and Hot Air Brush, Red

I initially bought this item after hearing great reviews and it was recommended by a friend of mine who is a hair stylist. I loved it so much, I actually bought it again as a Christmas gift for a close friend. This is a busy, working mom’s best friend (and even a busy single gals)! I’ve tried other blow brushes before but nothing compares to the drying power and heat produced by this brush- I was skeptical at first and wouldn’t have bought it in the first place if it wasn’t recommended by the hair stylist friend of mine. It really saves me time and ensures I have blow out hair after every wash! I receive many compliments on my hair and have recommended it to others cause I was amazed it actually worked. It also has the cool air function, which I typically would use with my regular blow dryer to achieve a blow out, but it’s much more light weight and easy to use since it’s also brush. If you’re debating getting an expensive blow dryer or flat iron (I have both of these), I would definitely forego as you can easily achieve the perfect blow out with this item. You’ll also save as you won’t need to visit blow lounges anymore. I have a lot of hair and it’s wavy- but this brush works perfectly and saves me so much time. The trick is to let your hair air dry to the point it’s almost dry to prevent your hair from drying. Love how I can also fit it into my purse or gym bag! Definitely recommend as you will save time and money. The price on this is amazing.. will never buy an expensive blow dryer or flat iron again!

Essentially this is a blow dryer inside of a brush.. but it makes all the difference for people who don't do well at blow drying their hair. I don't blow dry often because of my naturally curly hair but when I do, I manage to make myself look like a clown. This gave me a salon look in about 30 minutes (on the low setting)... Which is saying a lot, because it's taken upwards of an hour and a half at the salon, let alone when I do it myself! I have deceptively thick curly hair. I get so impatient and never ever get the back done. I am super impressed with this tool. While it's really big, it's also ergonomic which is really nice. I also should mention that my hair comes out incredibly smooth. Usually when I use heat, my hair gets crunchy..even though I have consulted with my hairdresser about the correct temperature. She bought me a professional hair straightener a few years ago and taught me how to use it. I prefer this tool. She does a wonderful job, but I can never replicate it. I used this before my bridal appointment a few days ago (my 2nd time using it) and my hair was so smooth that the hair pieces kept falling out. I've never had that problem before in my life. Also if you are concerned about getting your roots, I think this product does a good job of allowing them to dry without putting direct heat on them. When I dry with a blow dryer I get this weird dip in my hair from where my roots are wet and don't dry with as much volume as the area I blow-dry. With this I life sections of my hair up and rotate the hair around the brush several times to form a curl but in that process I can feel air getting down the whole strand. I haven't had any problems of my roots being wet or the weird dip.

Oh wow just go ahead and buy it already! My mom had told me to get one a few years ago and I just shrugged it off. I was doing OK with my previous blow dryer and brush and able to flat iron at the end. Once again I was revisiting blow dryers this year and I saw it and with all the good reviews and fabulous price I decided to go ahead and spring for it. Wow! My mom tends to know best in most things and she wasn't wrong with blow dryers either. This thing is amazing! It's light, easy to use, and makes quick work of my slightly longer than shoulder length hair. My hair is smooth, shiny, and has tons of volume! I didn't even need to bust out my flat iron. Usually everything looks frizzy and crazy even after blow drying and I need to slather on anti-frizz products and flat iron for a smooth, shiny finish. This thing was a one and done! It felt like a professional blow out, and in half the time of my usual blow dry routine. 6 out of 5 stars! Get it!!

So I love this dryer. It smoothes my hair really well. It give my hair body too. I actually prefer it over my regular hair dryer. There are a couple of cons however. This thing is really loud. Like jet plane loud. Like my ears ring after I use it and may consider ear plugs loud. The other thing I don’t really like about it is it gets super hot. Like don’t touch it hot. Not really a fan of that especially since that high of heat is likely to damage your hair in some way. Lastly, the size. I am mostly Talking about the handle size. The barrel size is fine and there isn’t much I would change about that but the handle gets really hard to hold and my hand starts hurting after a while. Those are the things I would change if it were me. If they updated it with those changes I would be all about it. However the one I have is pretty good and I love the way my hair looks after in use it.

I spent the late 90's and early 2000's trying to straighten and blow out my curly, frizzy, unpredictable hair with mixed results. Unfortunately for me, I never achieved Britney's locks without a two hour wrestling bout with a round brush, Revo-Styler, flat iron, work of Jesus--you get the point. As an adult, I've embraced my curls and almost never blow my hair out because it takes frickin' forever. Not any more! This thing blew out my hair better than I've ever done myself, IN LESS THAN TEN MINUTES (kept my hair up in a Turbie Twist while I did my makeup, so my hair was damp, not wet, when I started). The size and texture of the bristles hold onto my hair without tangling it, with a magic that I can only describe as follicular witchcraft. My hair is smooth and bouncy without being flat--think Christie Brinkley if she were a regular ass person. My hair texture is annoying at best--I have a combination of wavy pieces, super small spiral curls, straight pieces, and particularly short little dumb ones around my face make me look like I've gotten into an alligator grappling match in the steamy Everglades. On top of that, last year I was diagnosed with Hashimoto's and lost almost all of my hair. The few pieces that stayed were stick straight, and the rest has grown back curlier than ever. So I have longer straight pieces hitting my shoulders, and lovely pube-esque ones that hit right below my cheekbones since they haven't grown out yet. I know, it sounds really sexy. Anywho, this Revlon voodoo hocus-pocus apparatus has wizarded all of the above hairs into coiffed submission, and for that I'm eternally grateful. Don't wait on this bad boy.

"Is this my hair?" "My hair can look like this?!?!"...are the things I squealed after using this styling tool. Have you ever seen New Girl s4e18 "Walk of Shame"? Jess and Cece get blowouts and then go to a party, followed by a walk of shame the next morning. They were acting on the premise that they couldn't waste their blowouts. This tool is great. It's fast, my hair is dry and styled in under 20 minutes. It gets really hot. It blows a lot of air but my hair stays on the bristles. After use, my hair looks shiny and full of volume. I've gotten a lot of compliments. I love this styling tool more than any I've ever used, including my Chi flat iron. For reference, I have a lot of strands of thin hair (that looks and feels thick), it's frizzy when air dried, wavy, mid-length. The only con I can really see is you have to be careful not to burn yourself. The hot air is intense when the tool is close to your scalp and ears. Also, the "cool tip" is not really that cool on your fingers. So just like Jess and Cece's hair that represents fun, I can have a blowout everyday. But unlike Jess and Cece, I won't have to worry about wasting a blowout because I can get one whenever I want.

I love this hot air brush so much, I have two. This one is for my US home, and one I bought on Amazon Spain for my home there. I have type 2c hair, so I let it air dry until about 95% dry. Then I go in with this tool to finish the drying while also straightening it out. It is a lifesaver because my natural hair is very fine and tends to tangle & knot over the day if I let it dry natural. This leaves my hair soft & dare I say, silky?

It gets HOT. It’s a bit of a clunky learning curve but my hair looks like a salon blow out the first time I used it!!! Usually when I blow dry my hair it’s a frizzy disaster afterwards and I have to use a flat iron to fix it. I figured that’s just how my damaged hair is. I had just accepted it. Not anymore! This thing is amazing. Life changing sounds dramatic but it’s been true in my case. I don’t have to use a flat iron at all when I dry my hair with this. I just dry and go and it looks like I just came from the salon. I can get 2 days from it without having to clip it up. I just run the hair dryer through my 2nd day hair and it looks great again. I’m in Florida and right now the humidity is low so I can’t yet say how the humidity will kill my hair vibe but I can say this tool is well worth the money. I was about to invest in a dyson hair dryer. No need to throw money away on that now!!!! FYI I have fine, medium length, sort of wavy hair. That’s a bit heat and color damaged through the years.

Excelente producto! Llegó en buen estado, lo he usado 5 veces y ha sido eficientemente. Tengo abundante cabello y lo tengo largo, en cuestión de menos de 15 minutos todo mi cabello está totalmente seco y peinado. Si lo usas recién salida de bañar tardas 15 minutos pero si ya tienes el cabello medianamente seco, en menos de 10 ya está listo :) El cepillo es grande pero no representa complejidad para manipularlo :)

Es una excelente herramienta para peinarse, la verdad es que me ha sorprendido lo fácil de usarlo y el resultado que da es muy bonito, tengo tiempo con el cepillo y hasta el momento funciona como si fuera nuevo aún, lo recomiendo mucho no te arrepentirás de adquirirlo

Es la mejor herramienta de secado de cabello, te queda super sedoso y te dura varios días el cabello bonito, claro como cualquier secadora de cabello es ruidosa pero nada problemático, trae un conector más amplio, más seguro, ya que viene de eua, la presentación de Amazon México viene con un conector sencillo así que espero ayude a que no se descomponga tan rápido o le vaya a dar algún golpe de luz

Muy bueno solo maltrata bastante en cabello, más que una secadora normal
