Wood Treasure Box with Hand Beaded Lid; Czech Glass Beads form a lovely Sea Fan motif in Sapphire, Aquamarine, Emerald, Silver & Turquoise.

Description

"Sea Fan" is a one of a kind, hand decorated, wood trinket box. The lid of this beautiful treasure box is entirely covered with gorgeous glass beads in a variety of colors including sapphire blue, pool, turquoise, aqua, silver lined clear, emerald green and blue frost with bright aqua colored crystal elements. The sea fan is made with silver microbead glitter, which are reminiscent of the tiny silver sugar dragees used on old-fashioned Christmas cookies. The inside bottom of the box is lined with floral patterned designer art paper in pool and aqua with little hummingbirds and cotton cord edging. "Sea Fan" has four glass cabochon feet in sapphire and multiple layers of clear coat finish to help protect it. • Round wood box • Approx. 4 ½" diameter; 2 ½" tall; 2 1/4" deep (inside of box) • Glass beads • Prominent colors: sapphire, pool, silver and turquoise • Inside bottom lined with designer art paper in shades of pool and aqua • Outside of box is painted white • Box has a nice, substantial feel • Clear coat finish My treasure boxes are created in stages as each piece "speaks" to me, telling me what it wants next. The layering of beads, glitter and paint can take days until the little box finally says, "I am complete."
