SQUARE SQ1 Instant Camera, Chalk White

I bought this camera for my boyfriend as a gift and he loves it. It feels really special and always comes out on special occasions, birthdays, parties, with family etc. The film isn't cheap so that's why we save it for important moments, but not always! The colour of this is so nice and a bit different to other polaroid cameras out there. It's also really easy to use, feels nice in your hands and the pictures come out great. There's definitely a learning curve to using a polaroid camera and it might take you a couple of tries the first time you use it, but don't be discouraged if your first photo doesn't turn out the way you expected. Make sure you read the instructions properly for both the camera and the film, maybe watch a YouTube tutorial and you'll figure it out. The photos look lovely and are really nice to give as small gifts, party favours or to use as decorations or in scrapbooks.

I understand some people want ultra HD clear photos, but this camera captures exactly what I was looking for, faded and vintage style photos. It has a special style that reminds me of Polaroids and high resolution doesn't capture the style these cameras are designed for. Truly is fantastic quality. The only issue is the button for taking the photos but as long as you take care you shouldn't have too many issues, but will certainly be easy to forget. The film has a first use slide that comes out to presumably calibrate the slides into position (though the camera does not come with supplied slides, only batteries) Well worth the money.

Image quality is rather good, but sometimes they are too bright (so extra colour filter, darker glass on lens will create better contrast rated images) Just shot from hands instead of checking visor, trying to center on object Creates instant photo which is exposures (ready) in 2-5 mins Good square images of normal size (not tiny) Price per shot is twice lower than Polaroid Very good for albums photo collecting

Daughter has absolutely loved this camera. Overall its pretty great. Though obviously its tricky to make sure you get the picture you want... and you dont get a second chance 😉. The quality of the photo could be better and it seems quite sensitive to light. But! This is for a 10 year old and she's really enjoying it. So it was a great xmas pressie.

I bought the Instax Square 1 for my girlfriend and we took it away on holiday. It turned out to be one of the best things we packed. The photos have a lovely vintage feel and the square format looks great . Some of our favourite holiday shots came from this camera. It’s really simple to use, even if you’ve never picked up an instant camera before, and it feels solid in your hands. There’s something fun about having a physical photo straight away, rather than just another picture on your phone. We’ve already got a small collection of prints on the fridge and they’re a nice reminder of the trip. If you’re after something easy to use that brings a bit of nostalgia and produces photos you’ll actually keep, this is a brilliant choice. The only thing you have to be careful of is ovexposing your images. I really like that look but in direct sun they can be super overexposed. It takes some getting used to but the final product is more often than not something we absolutely love.

Bought for my teenage daughter as she wanted a Polaroid, but this is a better modern version. The picture quality is so retro which is cool ( I am told ). The film roles are pricey, but for special occasions and teen use this is really perfect. I want one for me! It takes very flattering photos. Would def recommend! Well worth the price tag. Shame that amazon left it on my doorstep when I was at work. Lucky a porch pirate did not spot it

Photos are pretty much always out of focus unless you stand in exactly the right place to take a photo and no one moves even the tiniest bit. Viewfinder doesn't correlate to the actual printed photo. Far too easy to take a picture by accident as the button is flat and placed where you'd naturally pick up the camera. Body feels cheap. Batteries aren't included and cost £6-10 a set as they arent standard. Managed to take 4 photos before they ran out, don't leave them inside the camera. Film is also costly. Literally no positives.

Excellent camera; I love it and its features. I especially love the selfie capability.

It took some time to get used to the difference between the mods of the cam and I found that taking pictures in natural light is so much more beautiful than taking them indoors they turn out dark but overall very beautiful and so happy with it

Good good good
