If my chihuahua could type, she’d be writing this review herself to say just how much she LOVES this bed! The Furhaven orthopedic dog bed has truly become her little comfort zone — she curls up in it every night (and most of the day), and you can just tell how happy and cozy she feels. It’s the perfect size for chihuahuas, offering just the right amount of support and softness. The orthopedic cushion gives her a plush, comfortable spot that’s easy on her tiny joints, and it’s quickly become her go-to napping place. She even prefers it over the couch now — that says a lot! The bed is also really cute and blends in nicely with our home décor — it doesn’t scream “dog bed,” but still has a stylish, cozy look. It’s well made, easy to clean, and seems like it’ll hold up for the long run. This was a great buy for a very happy little pup. If you have a chihuahua or a small dog that loves comfort, don’t think twice — this bed is a winner! 🐾

My little Chihuahua absolutely loved this little bed, it was his favorite. It had outer foam sides that unzipped so you could wash it easily, as well as the center egg crate cushion that also unzipped and was easily removable for the washing machine. It was good quality and comfortable. He was elderly and slept in it comfortably for hours. It had a lowered section in one side which made it very easy for him to get in and out of. I would definitely recommend this bed for small dogs or even a good sized cat.

When I received the bed, it was all balled up in a plastic shipping bag, with tape all over. See photos. I was dubious that it would ever unfold and be a proper shape. Fortunately, over the course of a few days it settled into an oval shape. But seriously, who ships a dog bed this way? Anyway, quality-wise, it is not wuite the same quality as the other bed I have made by the same company purchased a few years ago. The fabric on this one feels and looks thinner and cheaper. Time will tell if it holds up as well as the previous one has. The only reason I bought another one is because I have two dogs and the old oval one is their favorite bed. No more fighting over who has it! That said, I wish the fabric had been a higher quality for the money paid.

My dog is very happy with her bed. It's a good size for a 20 lb. beagle/ corgi mix. She's been using it for over 2 years now. The bed has held up well and still looks new (minus the dog hair). The egg crate foam is dense enough to be cushiony and not just flatten under her weight. She loves to prop her chin on the sides of the bed. The sides are soft but sturdy enough to hold her head up without folding over. The removable washable cover is very convenient too. I would gladly buy another of these beds.

I love Amazon but was disappointed with this purchase. This bed is so flimsy that it came wrapped in a plastic package and was made into a little ball to squeeze it into the plastic bag. I have another pet bed, which was less expensive, and is better quality more fluffy and sturdy. This bed is cheaply made. It serves it's purpose as a bed but if you love your pets you'd want something a little better than this.

I was looking for a pet bed that can grow with our pup. This was the perfect size and shape. Its easily washable and not too thick, but perfect bottom support. Walls are not too thin. He gets hot when its summer since corgis are double coated. The color of the bed (brown) was the perfect shade. The outer material was like a cloth velvet but was a non-issue for me. Another thing is I like to see whatever is inside his bed, and I really like to keep it clean so I opted for the lighter colored (white) inner sherpa lining as oppsed to a darker shade. I also opted for sherpa, because we live in Seattle, WA, so if and when it gets cold in the winter time, the floor won't be too cold for him. I also opted for orthopedic foam because corgis are prone to hip problems. My order arrived on time via Prime. The packaging was carefully done. Upon opening, it was thrice folded. It was easy to unfold and reverted to its orginal shape, no stains, marks or odd sewing. All in all, I can see him using this for awhile. Our corgi is currently 8 weeks old. And should grow to about 20-25 lbs. He loves this bed! So again, happy corgi, happy mommy. Thanks! 🙂

As other reviews have noted, the bed runs small. I ordered a Large for our 30 pound terrier mix; the bed works for him since he usually sleeps curled up. The major problem with the bed is that the faux lambs wool comes off when our dog paws at it in his nesting behavior (circling around and around in the bed while pawing its surface). We've had the bed less than a week and already a significant portion of the faux lambs wool has ended up on the floor around the bed. Messy, and a sign that this bed won't last very long. Another problem with the bed is that the "egg crate orthopedic base" is rather thin, maybe no more than one-half inch. 12/1/18 updated review. I have downgraded my original 2 star review to 1 star. Washed the bed for the first (and only) time today. Large chunks of faux lambs wool fell off in the washing machine, and the so-called orthopedic base (which is not removable) is a heap of lumps. The bed is now useless. Find yourself a different bed; this one is very poorly made!

Had this bed for several years and all the dogs loved it! Out of all the beds available, this one was a favorite. It went through many washes, a lot of dog butts, and held up great over the years until I finally had to toss it because we acquired some newer beds. Definitely worth what I had paid.

First off before I begin my review it's important to note .... There are 18 color variations, two cushioning options and six different sizes on the Amazon product listing for this dog bed. It's important when you read the reviews that you are reading a review for the product combination you are thinking of buying. My review is for the Medium Sized bed with the Orthopedic Base. I wanted to find an oval cuddler bed with firm sides (bolster) for our 15 lbs cockapoo. Before buying this Furhaven bed I bought several others including one from Amazon Basics. Most of the round beds I purchased were poorly made and not very supportive. The Amazon basics bed I bought was actually pretty good but I needed something a little bigger with a little more support. Our cockapoo loves this Furhaven bed. The orthopedic foam is soft but Firm. The Side walls (bolster) is supportive and the quality of the whole bed is very good. The cushions are removable so the bed can be washed and the sherpa fleece is very durable. At 48.99 I was a bit hesitant to buy this bed but after using it for awhile now I'm glad I did ... it's totally worth it. My advice would be to purchase the Orthopedic Base if you can afford it and the proper size for your dog. If you have a smaller dog breed (under12lbs) and don't want to spend $50 on a bed I would recommend the Amazonbasics Round Bolster Dog Bed which is only $21.99. (ASIN : B07233P1W2). Our dog likes that bed also but prefers the extra room and orthopedic foam with the medium sized Furhaven bed.

Quality pet bed with soft fluffy lining. It is washable on delicate. It's a large pet bed for a small to medium sized pet. My dog about 18 lbs and she fits the large size. Added a little bow and button detail for an added look. Good value for the price.
