Converter for Design Fountain Pens (FC148785)

The ink capacity is great and is able to hold a fairly good amount of ink. I must praise the twist knob as for somebody with sweaty fingers I still find twisting it to be really easy and very smooth! When placing it onto the pen not only does it look sleek it also fits very snugly and tightly inside. I would very likely purchase this again for my other pens as it's such a great converter.

I ordered three of these Faber Castell converters and they each arrived in their own plastic zip bags, a nice good thingy. The build looks to be top shelf quality. I am very pleased with this purchase.

The pen wrote smoothly right out of the box. Right size for my hand. There is no converter provided but it will take any standard international converter such as Schmidt. Attachment of the barrel to the section is a bit loose. Why I do not know but the pen works great.

Sheerness? Really? Amazon wants to know what I think about the sheerness of this item? It's a fountain pen converter, not pantyhose. "This fountain pen converter is so sexy. It turned on my partner so much. I'll definitely buy more." Anyhow, I bought this because I added an Ohto Dude pen to the collection, it didn't have a converter, and none of the spare "international" converters from long-broke cheap Chinese pens would fit. The Faber-Castell converter seems like a true international size, and fits nice and snugly on the Dude. It works. It looks like the converter on my Faber-Castell Loom, so it's legit. I think. tl;dr: Ohto Dude? This works.

Works great with my fountain pen. The best thing is that ink leakage stopped when traveling by plane.

Works as intended and gets the job done for my faber castel loom. It looks really nice in the pen but be aware that this is a standard international converter and an expensive one. On a budget there are many other cheaper options i might have gone with if i had known they would function identically. Also this converter is not easy to disassemble for cleaning. The quality and the screw mechanism is much smother than other converters of this type i own.is really nice. I will still give it 4 stars, just keep some stuff in mind while buying.

I got this for my Faber Castell Essentio. It fits well, nice and secure. The plunger seal is tight, very easy to clean without getting a lot of seepage into the screw chamber. I haven’t had any difficulty getting it to fill to 90-95% as some reviews have mentioned. However, I do cycle my converters multiple times when filling in order to get them as full as possible. I guess a little patience goes a long way. This product is recommended.

Nothing exceptional, but that's not bad. Just a typical converter that does what you need it to on a Faber-Castell fountain pen of the requisite type/size. Maybe a tiny bit more expensive than a Jinhao or other brands, but unless you want to experiment with what could fit your Faber-Castell you cannot beat this option.

Fits my Schneider voice pens really well. Great quality. Will buy again if needed.

Great converter. Smooth screw and easy to use, holds a lot of ink and is well worth the price. A great product overall.

I used to refill non-refillable cartridges with a needle, which worked OK but sometimes the cartridges would leak, making a mess. I guess it is because they aren't really meant to be reused indefinitely. Anyhow, I've been using this refillable converter for a while now and it works just as advertised. I go through a lot of ink because of my job - my Faber-Castell Ambition pen is my daily driver. Even the refilling process is less messy than my old system. For the price, I highly recommend it.

Protégez vos convertisseurs d'encre non vides J'avais un problème avec le changement d'encre avec mes convertisseurs pour Faber-Castell et CON-70 pour mes stylos Pilot. Je devais vider l'encre restante dans la bonne bouteille avant d'utiliser une nouvelle couleur. Si le convertisseur retiré était laissé ouvert, il y avait, d'après une mauvaise expérience, un risque de déversement d'encre. Ces bouchons filetés de 7 mm étaient ma solution. Ils sont très souples et s'adaptent à la fois aux convertisseurs Pilot ET aux convertisseurs standard comme ceux de Faber-Castell ici. Donc, maintenant, pour changer l'encre, je n'ai plus qu'à mettre l'un de ces bouchons sur le convertisseur retiré. N'oubliez pas d'étiqueter l'encre chargée. Sur la photo, j'ai utilisé un morceau de Post-It mais je trouverai une meilleure solution, plus adaptée aux stylos.
