I am so happy with it. First of all I can't believe how fast it arrived. Even though I had free shipping, it was at my door in 2-days! From viewing the picture online and the fact that they say it is rice paper, I was a little nervous about ordering it. I have a small dog that swings toys around and was worried that it would get torn but it is a lot less delicate than it appears. I actually think it looks nicer in person than in the picture. It is light and a big breeze could knock it over but I'll be mindful of that if I put it by a window. I am thrilled with it. Hope this helps.

I bought this 9 years ago. I have moved many times since then, and it was in storage for over a year. My cat thought it would be fun to use it one time as well. And still this beautiful divider is still amazing and has become a staple in our house. The colors never faded, and the wood is still intact. The only bad thing is that the while is discoloring a bit, but that happens to really old items with that material and it just started looking that way recently. It is made of a soft cloth that even though a portion of it has nail marks on it, you can't tell. I'm actually shocked that it lasted this long. It's one of my favorite pieces. The photo I took has the nail marks too.

Suspended it onto a wall to cover a big bedroom window (that was foam boarded to deflect heat). And it instantly became beautiful wall art. We got so many surprised compliments!

I purchased this room divider to use as a shield to hide some ugly A/V wires from the back of my TV and media unit. This thing works like a charm. It looks good and does the job well. My only wish was that the packaging was a bit better since the paper is fairly delicate and the first one that was shipped to me had a gash in it. The seller was very responsive though and I got a replacement no problem. If you're in the market for a lightweight, economical room divider, this one is a good pick. It is not going to be a conversation-piece and I wouldn't use it as a screen in high traffic areas due to its light weight, but as long as you take it for what it is, you will not be disappointed.

This has been a lifesaver. I live in apartments now and we have GIANT windows. Every single room has windows the size of sliding glass doors. I have curtains for some rooms, but this room is my office / cat's room. They love the window and will climb into it. I didn't like people staring at me as they walked by the apartment. So I bought this divider to give me more privacy while I am at my desk and its flawless. At first the cats touched it and it fell over (it really is lightweight so be careful). It is more stable on wood, but I have it on carpet. After they scared themselves knowing this could fall and after a scolding when one stuck a claw into it, they haven't touched it since. There are no tears or damage from being sent in the mail (nor from the cats learning). It hasn't fallen over once on the carpet without assistance. It is definitely opaque. I moved the lamp to the opposite side of the room so at night its soft light on my side with the glow going through the screen. Beautiful. Plus it hides the cat's toys, litterbox, scratch tree, and whatnot else they have over there from plain sight. Perfect purchase, well worth the cost.

This is a nice enough room divider, but it is not rice paper, which would be an organic fiber. It is definitely a woven synthetic fiber. I am glad I bought it for the price and convenience of delivery.

I reviewed many of the other styles of divider doors and most reviews said the colors, like the blossoms, etc.. were not the same color as on the site. I decided to get this one instead since its basically just grays and blacks. I am very pleased with this purchase. It is not rice paper but I never expected rice paper that for that money and it makes it more sturdy. Rice paper breaks very easily so I prefer this material. Overall it looks great, functions great, and was delivered without issues. I would highly recommend this room divider.

This divider is really beautiful, but unfortunately one of the panels was broken when I received it. I didn't even notice until the fabric began to bend and wrinkle in that area. I contacted the seller, but because it was outside the return window - they refused to replace it. If you want something that lasts, I wouldn't recommend this.
