These are very well made but are very dull. You will need to purchase a Dremel and go on You tube to learn how to sharpen. Small sizes are fast to sharpen. Big sizes take 20 min Plus. I cannot comment if they dull faster than European types

The punches were dented, out of round and had extremely dull rough cutting edges. I am sure with a lot of work they could be sharpened, but they still would not cut circles. The rubber hand guard on the handle to prevent hand injury if the hammer strike slips is a joke. It's as soft as a gummy worm candy. It would not protect your hand from a stray thought let alone a missed hammer strike. All of that aside are the cracks through the castings on many of the pieces. (see photos) This is dangerous. Upon use the punch could shatter on one of the numerous cracks and the flying parts could cause bodily injury. In my opinion they are poor quality and not safe to use.

First of all, it is cheap. Typical of the phrase "you get what you pay for". The blades are dull, the centering pin popped out after the first use, and the centering pin is practically useless (cannot make a good "do nut" gasket).I used it on 3/16" thick neoprene rubber. I'm thinking of getting the Mayhew Pro 66002 1/8-Inch to 2-Inch Imperial SAE Hollow Punch Set.

I am disappointed in them. They are not sharp enough to cut through a single layer of fabric

After reading a lot of reviews warning me that they are not sharp enough - - I took a gamble.....I sent them back - Would not cut properly / clean. ( and yes, I did use backing material to try to help with the cut - still no luck.

Product works on cutting rubber materials, I am sure it also works well on other gaskets materials. I wished it had a larger cutting attachment, like an inch and a half. Thank you, and if there is an inch an a half attachment, pls. let me know, I will buy it. Be well.

I needed this item for medical purposes and it worked perfectly. After colon surgery I had to cut circles in colostomy bag mounting bandages. Doing it with scissors took hours, once I found what diameter was needed I would cut out at least ten of them in a matter of minuets with the hole punch you should let medical workers know about this time saving use.

Because they are not very sharp they do not cut some materials cleanly. You have to sharpen them to get clean cuts which is not convenient to do.
