BLISSBURY Piercing Pillow, Ear Pillow with Hole, Adjustable Memory Foam

If you have Winkler's disease (CNH) and are here searching for a pillow, this pillow was the solution for me! I have a collection of pillows (sadly) of different firmness, size, and even one I purchased previously with a hole in the middle here on Amazon. Didn't like the one I previously purchased with big hole because i had to keep adjusting the stuffing around it to get it to the right height/density and the hole was so large that my head was falling through. So I gave this new pillow a shot based on the reviews and design and glad that I did! I am a side sleeper who tosses and turns throughout the night and within 3 weeks of using this pillow my pain and embarrassingly large bump on my ear is gone! At first, I found the pillow a bit uncomfortable but that was because the shipped size of it was too high. You can open the pillow case and remove a layer of foam and once I did I slept great! The design is great because having two holes can accommodate either or both ears, and the foam is a good enough density where it's not too firm or too soft for me. Also, as opposed to the one-hole pillow I previously bought where I had to extend my neck at night to get my head/ear to fit, the holes on this pillow are positioned more towards the edge (not center of the pillow) so that I don't have to adjust/extend my head/neck as I sleep to find the hole. Interestingly, the pillowcase that comes with the pillow is not your typical smooth pillow case sheet. I was initially not happy because I tend to be a hot sleeper and prefer cool/smooth sheets. However, I have not had any issues with this pillowcase causing me to be too hot or sweat at night -- it's much more comfortable than I anticipated. So for me, aside from removing the layer of foam, the pillow has been perfect and has improved the bump and pain associated with CNH on my ear and improved my sleep at night! As other reviews have indicated, the pillow may be modified by cutting out some of the foam or using an oversized pillow case to fit in the holes (or if having matching color pillowcases is your thing) if that's your preference, but for me that was unnecessary. If you are a CNH/Winkler's disease sufferer, this pillow may be worth the investment. It was for me!

This saved my ears! I recently developed irritation on one of my piercings and thanks to this I can sleep comfortably again! The pillow itself is very comfy, not too hard or soft, and the silk pillow case is good quality. It’s a littler longer than a normal sized pillow which I’m fine with. The cover removes easily for washing.

I got this pillow because my ears hurt when I sleep on my side. It has an insert that you can take out if it’s too tall. I like that the cut outs are big enough for some wiggle room, but not too big as to be uncomfortable. The cut outs are slightly skewed to one side so you can reach them easily. The pillowcase also has indents where the holes are. The pillowcase is thick, soft, sturdy, and zips well. The pillow is a bit firm and tall for me even with the insert out. It could support my neck better if it had the wave that neck pillows do. Seems to be of decent quality, but is extremely expensive

I've been using this pillow every night for a year. I needed an ear-hole pillow to allow me to wear earbuds while sleeping on my side (don't ask). The hole placement, and pillow thickness and firmness work well for me, using the included extra foam layer. The double-weave case (not satin) is very comfortable. I can compress this into its travel bag to put in luggage (about 14" long x 7" diameter), which DOES require significant hand strength (I'm male). There are some complaints in the negative reviews that I consider unjustified:Smell: Evidently, some did not read the directions. Initially the smell is bad, but this dissipates mostly in 24 hours as claimed, after which I could use it; and, I could not detect any smell after 1 week.Can't use a standard pillow case: Of course not, a standard pillow case covers the holes. That is why this pillow comes with a custom pillow case, and why you can buy additional ones. I bought the "pillow with 2 cases" package and alternate the cases on wash days. It takes a little care, but not much effort to swap the case and keep the holes aligned. I do use my fingers to bury the zipper toggle deep into its pocket so that it does not scrape on our head board, and that then requires a tool (needle-nosed pliers) to start un-zipping.Other comments:There is no pleasing everyone. Complaints run from "too hard" to "too soft", holes are "too big" or "too small". I wonder whether people whose head did not stay on the pillow ("holes too close to edge") are using the satin cover, rather than the double weave cover, or didn't try using the opposite hole to face toward the middle.For me, the thickness is right, the firmness is right, the holes are in a good place. I want my face near the edge of the pillow so that there is less pressure on my nasal passages and my nose tilts slightly toward the mattress. I don't slide off. I don't find the cover hot, and I find it well ventilated. I can roll over from one side to the other and land my opposite ear pretty close to the second hole; however, for other reasons, I do move the pillow when I change sides.The cases are swapped every week, so each have been washed and re-installed over the foam more than 25 times, with no problems regarding durability. I do NOT have pointy things in my ears (piercings), so I cannot comment on snagging.The descriptive information for this pillow lists its overall size (26x15, I'd say 24x14, but close) and the size of the ear holes (4.3x2.7, agreed, or maybe 4x3), but the description does not specify the hole location. Here is that information:Side edge of pillow to nearest edge of hole: 5 inchesBottom edge of pillow to bottom edge of hole: 3.5 inchesTop edge of pillow to top edge of hole: 6.5 inchesInboard edge of hole to inboard edge of other hole: 8 inches(It all adds up if you assume 24x14 for the overall size, and 4x3 for the holes.)Thickness does measure 5 inches, with the extra pad, with no compression.Again, sleep comfort is HIGHLY individual. This pillow works well for me, evidently not for everyone.

I am returning this pillow for another brand (sorry!) This could be a great pillow but I feel it needs some design tweaks. Hopefully this review helps others with similar concerns:1 - the memory foam is too firm for me. You think your head is heavy until you're laying it on memory foam. The foam wins out on firmness. I haven't met a memory foam pillow yet where my head actually sinks in and conforms to the shape of my head2 - The ear holes are sharp rectangular shape and our ears are oblong but not rectangular. The hole is spacious but I don't feel it is the right shape for our ears, it doesn't feel natural3 - The stitching for the ear holes lie right on the spots where your face will rest, specifically in corners where your temple will apply pressure. This is not comfortable if you are suffering from an ear infection (which is actually what prompted me in my search for an ear hole pillow). If you have no sinus, ear or tooth issues, this might be a perfect pillow but the weight of your face absorbs the pressure that's being alleviated off the ear. So it actually created additional pain for me while giving me ear "pressure" relief.4 - The placement of the ear holes. They are too far left and right on the pillow so there's only a teeny bit of space facing out when you're head it on it, so it almost feels like you're leaning off the pillow a little bit. This is a probably just a personal preference issue but it was one other thing that made the pillow uncomfortable for meI appreciate the concept of this pillow and it has great reviews which means lots of people are happy with it but it's just not the pillow for me. I have to get one with removeable stuffing as opposed to memory foam to be able to make it a more sink-in pillow.

The ear hole is actually great and I like having it. I tried the $210 purple pillow and returned it because my ear was sore from laying on it all night. I currently own the $200 Honeydew pillow and I like that one even though I still have the sore ear from laying on my side, but I still prefer this Ear Pillow because it fixes that sore ear problem. I am a side sleeper and it's annoying waking up with the sore ear from the pressure. Thank goodness this pillow exists because it fixes that problem. So for me, a tall and slightly heavy side sleeper, this pillow beats the $210 Purple pillow, and the $200 Honeydew pillow.

Thanks so much!So I loved the idea of this pillow! 2 months ago I got a snug piercing in my ear and for a month I didn’t sleep on my left side. But then I started sleeping on my left and tried things like the little inflatable rings to sleep on, neck rolls and lastly a super soft pillow. The soft pillow worked the best for me but then I saw in an article someone talked about a pillow with cut outs for your ears so here I came to Amazon! This pillow had loads of good reviews, but really was a bit expensive. I thought I’d give it a try because it it worked for me, then I’d get more comfortable sleep.Pros:Here’s what I did like. The ear holes and the adjustable height option of the pillow. The cover is also a soft material.Cons:Here’s what didn’t work for me. The ear holes are lower on one end than the other, but even on the shortest end, my ear was much lower than the hole so I would eventually end up with the end of the hole pushing on my snug and that pain would wake me up. I did wake up even to adjust the height because it was too tall, bending my neck uncomfortably, but the adjustment was minimal and so it still left my neck creaked. The worst part, and this hasn’t happened to me yet with anything, is my ear at my snug piercing was completely swollen this morning. I believe this was from the constant trouble of keeping my ear in the hole because there was too much pillow from my neck to the ear hole.So a swing and a miss for me.

It's barely been 3 days and I can already tell this is the best pillow I've ever purchased. I'm going to sound like a nut in this review and I'm not usually an excitable person, but I'm just so happy this worked out, especially given how affordable this product was. I have lots of piercings in my ears but even if those weren't there, I've always hated the pressure I get on my cartilage from side sleeping. This pillow is sooo comfortable in many different ways. It's not just after hours of side sleeping when I'm thankful for this pillow either. From the first moment I rest my head, it feels wonderful to not be lying on my ears. Love that I can also use my ear buds no problem.Comfort level is perfect for me. This pillow is firm so if you like your pillows floppy and practically nonexistent, this might not be for you. I'm 5'3.5", smallish frame, and the height with the insert is perfect for me, but I do have a mattress topper that makes everything sink, so that may be helping. However, I know I could always remove the 1" insert and it'd still be perfect. I love the way it aligns my spine and my neck is supported, straight up against the edge of the pillow. I read one review before purchasing about how their head slips off the edge when they have their ears aligned with the hole because of lack of support and then was worried the distance between the edge wouldn't be enough, but my worries were so unfounded. I have plenty distance between the edge, what I would have naturally on any other pillow, and this one is not lacking in support by any means. If you're taller and worried about how it can fit a 5'3" woman and not you, I wouldn't worry too much. Flip the pillow upside down, and there is a different distance between the ear holes and bottom edge, I believe they did this for people with a longer neck or broader shoulders. At the very least, give it a try! I'm so glad I did, despite my concerns.Finally, looking at pictures, I was wondering why it was necessary for two holes on each side rather than one in the middle, even considered buying their mini pillow instead for that reason- I'm so happy I went with this one cause I quickly figured out why! Half-asleep, I flipped sides the other night and without even thinking about it or trying, my ear perfectly fell into the other hole as I turned over. It was such a cool find, I woke up completely to laugh about how awesome that was. Simple, but it's the little things in life. You truly thought of pretty much everything, Blissbury! Thank you!My only critique, which I've seen a couple others have, is why not sell extra pillow cases in different colors? I'd love to purchase a grey one so the white doesn't stand out so much on my non-white bedset. I know I could just put on a different loose cover and make sure the holes still function, however I do love the material the original is made out of and also would like to purchase from you guys again. However, that is a tiny, tiny problem to have when I'm now sleeping so much more comfortably and thoroughly. So thanks again for designing this and making it affordable!

Esta es la almohada más cómoda que he usado jamás. Desde el año pasado empecé a hacerme perforaciones en la oreja derecha y llevaba meses o durmiendo de un sólo lado o usando un cojín de cuello para viaje cuando quería dormir de ese lado. Era bastante incómodo sinceramente. Los cojines de viaje son muy planos y no dan soporte en el cuello, pero si lo pongo sobre mi almohada normal queda demasiado alto.Bueno, hace unas dos semanas me perforé la otra oreja y pensé que iba a dormir mal por lo menos un par de meses pero aguanté así que decidí buscar una almohada con agujeros para las orejas. Me decidí por esta porque tiene dos huecos y definitivamente fue la mejor decisión.El soporte de esta almohada es perfecto, es increíblemente cómoda y ya no sufro del cuello ni de las orejas ni de nada. Me encanta! Mis piercings están sanando perfecto y duermo increíble. De hecho, duermo mejor que antes de mis perforaciones. Duermo mejor que lo que dormía con mi antigua almohada, no es demasiado suave ni demasiado rígida. Ahora me entusiasma irme a dormir en las noches.

両耳にヘリックスが開いているので通常の枕では痛くて寝れないので思い切って購入！若干、首から耳の位置が遠い。私の首が短いのか耳穴がもっと大きければ最高なのですが…。値段が高いのでこの出来栄えでは違う商品を探した方がいいと思います。
