Product Description Revell Contacta Professional Liquid Glue is for pin-point accurate bonding. The extra-fine hollow needle allows for micro-fine gluing of tiny details and clear part edges. Set Contains: 1 x Contacta Professional Liquid Glue Bottle

Review: Excellent glue. You may have to heat the needle on the first use. - First thing people should know. Is you may have to heat the metal needle to get glue to flow. On the first time anyway. It is a perfect glue for fine tiny metal parts and accurate placement. It does dry quickly and holds hard. Definitely recommended for super fine model detailed. And for general purpose plastic model building it works fine for that too. I’m heating the needle. All you need is a lighter and heat the needle for about three or four seconds and glue will flow.
Review: Excellent for Plastic Miniature Assembly - I use this glue to assemble plastic miniatures. It is a lot thinner than I expected but it only takes a very small dab of the glue to bond two pieces of plastic together. The bond begins very quickly so you don't have to hold the pieces together for very long. The applicator is like a long metal needle with a blunt end, which allows for precise application, although the very thin glue can still flood your model if you aren't careful. This glue has a somwhat strong odor and I would advise using it in ventilated conditions, but I thought that the smell was not as strong as some other plastic glues I have used in the past. The shape of the bottle is perfect to set down so it will not leak or spill between applications. Overall, a great plastic glue that works quickly and makes assembling my models more enjoyable and efficient. I will definitely continue to use this product.

**Q: Because it melts the plastic, I was told it might be a good solution for getting melted plastic off my glass top stove.  Anyone care to comment?**
A: No it will not work for that.  Use Goof Off or acetone or maybe a strong cleaner like 409, Fantastic, Simple Green.

**Q: Is it gel or liquid consistency? I need it for 40k models and want it to sit on the model not run off.**
A: Liquid, works great for my own 40k models in the right amounts. I would suggest to hold the part in place for a few seconds until the pieces properly fuse.

**Q: Is the tip metal or plastic?**
A: Metal.

**Q: Does this cause fogging or discoloration on transparent plastic?**
A: I bought this specifically for canopies on model aircraft as long as you keep it to the contacting surfaces it doesn’t seem to cause the foggy effect I’ve seen before with other materials

If you miss the Testor with metal tube, this Revell 39604 is its replacement. I was very happy to see it on Amazon and I ordered one right away. Is very handy and the glue is very good. Revell company probably rad the bad reviews Testor with plastic tip received -one of which was mine, and came up with their own one with metal tip. Great idea. If you are a plastic models builder, do not hesitate to buy it.
