The hose reel cart is very nice, sturdy, good looking. But why then such challenges with such a small part? When unpacking from the box, I noticed that both plastic gaskets where the handle is secured to the cart where broken off in back. Although the broken gaskets don't affect the operation of the cart in any way, I decided...why pay this much money for a hose reel cart that's not perfect? So I assembled the cart, put the hose on it, hooked it up to the water line, and no leaks. Good. Then I contacted the customer service group, described the problem, including pictures of the broken gaskets, and they responded quickly. They apologized, and said they'd send a new back part where the plastic gaskets are inserted, right away. (The gaskets are a very tight fit; there's no way to get them out to just replace the gaskets.) I had to wait a couple of weeks, but it arrived. Guess what? They sent the back plate and no replacement plastic gaskets! So again, I contacted customer service. Again, she was very responsive, apologized, and said she'd send the replacement gaskets right away. I received them in two days! Great, so then I pounded the new gaskets with a rubber hammer into the piping at the top of the replacement back plate and tried to install it into my original hose reel cart. Guess what? To install, you have to slide the back plate onto the two poles/sides of the cart, and secure with 4 threaded screws, two on each side. The holes from the replacement back plate aligned fine on one side, but were slightly off on the other, enough so I couldn't get the two screws in. If I forced them, it would strip the screws (believe me, I tried for a while to make it work). I didn't have this problem with the original back plate; I think the replacement back plate had the screw holes drilled slightly off where they should have been. So I took it all apart and installed the original back plate again with the broken plastic gaskets.Why should it be this difficult? I like the hose reel cart, just wish it were perfect for the money.

Easy to assemble, looks nice in garden, maneuvers easily. The one problem I did encounter though is the connection to the reel itself was a little tight. My existing hose connection is larger than most hoses so I had to buy a 5' hose to connect to the reel then connect my hose to that. Now that it is all set up, it will work just fine.

It seems like this should be a rugged piece of equipment. It was disappointing to have it arrive with several of the plastic pieces cracked or broken.

We really love our water hose cart. It is very easy to move around and “handsome”.

One of the carts did not have The holes in the bottom punched out, or the hole for overflow, there was not a rubber stopper for the drilled hole to add water

Just what I was looking for. Not going to fall apart next year. Difficult to use with better hose. Too narrow to screw on, put smaller hose and connected fine.

The cart is well-built, and holds plenty of hose. It would be nice to have the handle reversible, as cranking the hose right handed you have to keep your back to where the hose is trailing, so having the hose take out plants is a distinct possibility. Also, a brake or latch to keep the reel from unwinding would be nice as well as an end of hose keeper. But all-in-all, this reel is well worth the extra cost. I'm thinking of getting a second one for a different part of my place.

This hose reel was easy to assemble. It looks good, and the wheels are large enough to make it relatively easy to maneuver over a gravel driveway, grass, patio edges, etc. There are no hose connection leaks thus far. When rewinding the hose, there is a bar across the bottom at the front where you can place your foot and pin it in place. Without the weight of your foot on that bar, the unit itself is not heavy enough to always keep the reel in place while you wind in hose, especially when the hose is all the way out and there is no weight from the hose itself pinning the hose reel to the ground. Overall, I am very happy with this hose reel.

Je suis assez satisfaite de mon achat, il a été très facile à monter et les branchements sont parfait et de qualité, rien ne coule. Par contre, un rond de plastique qui retient le manche de la poignée était brisé. Je vais essayé de le recoller, c'est plus esthétique que pratique.

Nice design, brass swivel connector is great. Some opportunity for improvement. When you roll up the hose with a nozzle on it gravity want to unroll it, and then it will drag when you move it. If you put the nozzle in the basket it somewhat works, our last model had a hook/basket on the side that worked great. The two wheel design is great for ease of moving and turning. I would have given it a 5 but it showed up with a small chunk missing out of plastic sleeve that holds the upper handle in the lower frame. Not worth the hassle of returning.The finish is well done, I could not find any gaps in the coating. Time will tell if it can handle the weather.

The item received was missing the axle and the manufacturer very quickly shipped it to me. The cart is what I expected it to be: a pretty and functional means of transporting a single hose from the front yard to the back yard.

The hose real arrived and overall looks great and is made of strong metal. The only issue was that the box was packed without the axel rod for the wheels. Amazon did a great job addressing the issue but it was disappointing that it didn’t come with all the parts.

This is a good hose reel . It is very pretty and easy to use . This is our second one. One for the front of the house and one for the back .
