Original StoneStream Filtered Shower Head, Eco Power High Pressure Water Softener Showerhead with ON/OFF switch and Spa like Ionic beads for Dry Skin & Hair — 3 Spray Settings

I haven’t bought many shower heads in my life. But I found this one on my search to purchase a detachable shower head for my new place. Note: This one doesn’t come with the additional parts you need to install it but I went with Amazon’s suggestions in “often bought together” and the 2 reasonably priced pieces to go with it all work together perfectly! I was sold on the fact that it claimed to help purify the water and was so reasonably priced. And, I was intrigued by the reviews that it helps increase water pressure if that’s a problem for you. It wasn’t a problem for me, but I can see what people mean! The shower head has 2 settings, shower and stream— they both have good pressure. The shower setting is a bunch of very small streams of water so while it’s more pressure, it also can feel almost a little sting-y. It didn’t seem to bother my 4 year old though (who has long curly hair) and it was great for rinsing hair). He has super sensitive skin so I’m hoping the water change might make a difference. It felt great on me but I haven’t yet noticed a super obvious difference in the water (however, it’s so hot right now I’m only keeping my hair up in a bun). I’ll try to update if I notice anything spectacular. One small thing to note— it’s a little loose in the holder. Some removable shower heads fit snuggly in the holder when you hang them up and this sits in it loosely— like you couldn’t firmly angle it if you wanted to. It doesn’t make any difference to me, but I thought I’d mention it! Again, I have little experience with shower heads so I’ve never bought a $150 to compare too— but I love this little thing. I highly recommend it and I think it’s a great deal for the price!

The StoneStream Filtered Shower Head is a wonderful product WHEN it holds up ... The plastic casing parts especially around the 'screw on pieces' & joint areas TEND to leak soon or sooner than later. I've had to return more than one shower head because of this dilemma ... Other than that, it's a wonderful product especially for scalp skin health.

bought the StoneStream Filtered Shower Head because my old shower felt less “spa day” and more “pressure washer for raccoons.” This thing is amazing. The water pressure is so strong I’m pretty sure it exfoliated my soul, and the filtration makes the water feel softer—like my city water went to therapy and got its life together. My hair feels better, my skin feels better, and I’m now emotionally attached to my shower. Installation was easy (even for someone whose tool kit is mostly good intentions), and it looks sleek and modern. 10/10 would get blasted by this tiny water cannon again.

I really enjoyed this shower head, but it only lasted for a short amount of time. The product offered great water pressure and 3 different shower settings and I enjoyed the filtered water, especially with my water being well and nit having a water softener. It made a noticeable difference. However, one drop and I lost 2 of the settings (couldn’t switch between them) and after a shorter amount of time than most, it was acting like the jets were getting plugged, but could see clear through each one, but no water would come out. All in all, for the price, I still feel that it was worth it, especially on a budget, as it’s cheaper than most and I still got a couple of years of use out of it.

I gave this shower head some time and had high hopes. My wavy hair had gone stick-straight since moving to a home that has unfiltered well water. The first few times I showered with StoneStream, my hair began to recover some of its natural body. I was hopeful enough to order a year's worth of replacement stones. But that was premature. The softening of the water lasted approximately 2 weeks. NOT the months that the sellers claim. I'll keep the head because it does use a little less water than my regular shower head, but the prime reason I bought it was for the softening effect. It would likely work if you changed the stones once a week. So, ultimately, THUMBS DOWN. My original review that was for 3 hopeful stars is below. This product claims to soften hard water, and it does to a certain extent. I believe the effect will be cumulative, so I'm going to give it some more time. I do notice that it uses less water than my regular shower head. I have a well and the pump used to go off once during a 10 minute shower. So far, it doesn't go off using StoneStream. I like the different settings for the spray, but it does tend to send out annoying, off-angle spouts which hit you in the face instead of following the rest of the stream. My hair does feel softer, but hasn't regained the waviness it had before I moved to a hard water home. The button that changes the water stream started sticking after about 4 showers, so I'm leaving it on my favorite setting for now. I like the on/off feature, but it doesn't completely block the water. Still, I need to try this some more. I'd be willing to try the larger water filter, but it doesn't look as though it would work with the way my shower is built.

2 years is how long it lasts, your mileage may vary. The point of failure was the rubber like plastic around the mesh that holds the beads in. It crumbled into bits and clogged the valve. I'm buying it again and using a different mesh. My only complaint and this is exclusive to my situation is that the flow rate through the valve was too slow. Especially when the rubber come apart. Not bad. It's susceptible to cracking if dropped. That was the failure of the purchase prior

Well designed, easy to handle, spray modes changeable with one hand. Requires rather frequent limescale removal (depending on water hardness).

Does what is says. Very happy with the product. Water flow and power is very good. Skin feels a lot smoother now.

Seit Jahren hole ich mir diesen duschkopf um weniger Kalk in der Dusche zu haben. Leider sollte er herunterfahren geht er beim 3-4mal kaputt.
