Can I connect my tv using an analog converter as well as my Mac book air using 3.5 jack

The 3.5 jack is for output from this DAC only (ie to headphones) you will need either an optical or coaxial cable to send digital audio signal out from the TV (or DVD/Blu Ray), or a USB cable to send audio out from the MacBook (supplied in this package)
