These Star String Lights have been such a fun and cozy addition to my classroom! As a special education teacher, I try to create a calming and welcoming environment for my students—and these lights help do exactly that. I love that they plug in, so I don’t have to worry about constantly replacing batteries. The remote control makes it super easy to switch between different settings—whether it’s sparkle, flash, dim, or steady glow. My students especially enjoy watching the stars twinkle or fade gently; it adds a magical, calming vibe to our space. The warm white color is soft and not too bright—perfect for sensory-sensitive students. It’s enough to make the room feel inviting without being overstimulating. I’ve strung them along a bulletin board, but they’d look great across a window, bookshelf, or ceiling line too. The build quality is great so far. They’ve held up well with daily classroom use, and I appreciate that they’re waterproof too—just in case I want to use them outside for events or activities. The timer function is also a nice bonus if you want them to turn off automatically. I love these so much. The stars are a decent size without being too big, and they were very easy to hang with some Command light clips. I also like that there’s a lot of extra wire between the plug and the first star so you can really start them where you want them and not at the outlet.

UPDATE: The sellers have contacted me and offered to send me completely new lights :) Excellent customer service and I’m super excited to get them and set them up! ORIGINAL: Ordered 10/6/2025, worked beautifully for several months and I loved sitting in our living room just watching the lights, but a couple of months ago from now (2/20/2026), the receiver(?) or little usb connecting part started working less and less, (lights would not turn on when plugged in) and today I saw a little spark come from the plug. Lights themselves are great but I am sad they ended up not lasting a year :(

Update: the seller sent me a new set after learning about our experience and this one was flawless. I installed them without any problems or breaks and I love that they can be turned on or off with the remote. Original: These are super cute, but when trying to set them up, one of the wires snapped in half. Now they won't turn on and we are outside of our return window. We were very gentle with them.

Update 1/31/2026: The company contacted me a day or 2 after my review, offering to send me replacement lights after the first set randomly stopped working. Couldn't be more pleased with their customer service and of the quality of the replacements (pictured). . . I ordered these on 6/6/2025, got them like a week later, absolutely loved them. They were perfect for my room, lighting it up beautifully and just enough. They were perfect, until recently (1/18/2026). Out of no where I am not able to turn them on. The receiver on the wall plug in lights up showing it's receiving power, so I have no idea why they won't turn on. I changed the battery in the remote, so maybe the remote is broken? The button on the plug in part does nothing besides set up the timer. So sad that these randomly stopped working after having them less than a year.

Look super cute for my dorm! My indoor was Twilight sparkle haha. These were a PAIN in the ass to put up though. They came tangled. But that’s also just cus of all the little edges of the stars. Not sure if anything could’ve been done about the packaging for that? Maybe if they came wrapped plastic. The lights have very nice colors, I haven’t been able to set up my own color combos though. Just the preset ones

These lights arrived, and I was so happy with them! The design of the globes covering the light and the way it’s clear and crackly, looks really good. Plugged them in and they looked even better. My mistake, though I needed outdoor ones that are battery operated so I returned them and bought the same companies Lights in that version. Cannot wait to get them.

I thought I'd do the helpful thing and write a review just to say that if you've been going back and forth between string lights options, you need to stop NOW and pick this one. I expected absolutely nothing from something that comes from who knows where, but BOY it delivered!! The pictures don't even do it justice. Maybe it's the settings on my phone that corrupt the colors but it's not at all yellow, it's a warm white, just like I was wishing for. And the light bulbs themselves are insane!! They're heavy because the plastic is full, not hollow. They're overall very well built. Like I wouldn't even be scared to accidentally step on them (ouch cause your foot doesnt win against the light bulbs) or drop them. The remote settings are also pretty cool!! It's time to brighten the livingroom yall 💪

I had a problem with the remote not working. They took care of it and replaced it very quickly. The product is just what I was looking for, and the customer service was absolutely amazing! I highly recommend! Very satisfied with the whole experience. 😊

I love the warm tone in the lights, and that the bulbs are strong and made of glass. Everything about them is great... except for the remote. It doesn't have long range, and glitches. I will press one button- even the off button, and it thinks I'm pressing a different button. It's not the biggest deal because there is a manual button right where it plugs in- but I specifically chose this product for the remote and am kind of disappointed.

Went to use these for the first time for Canada Day and they stopped working as I was putting them up. One of the wires came out from a bulb.
