Great hay quality! My picky bunny loves it!
The hay arrived fresh, lot of flowers, and definitely first cut! My picky bunny loves it and I’m so glad to have found a hay she likes! I was getting concerned about her lack of hay intake because she wouldn’t eat the other brands like she eats this one. My only suggestion would be to cut down the hay pieces a bit into more manageable sizes, because I have to bend or break the hay to fit it into her feeding trough-it’s not a big deal, but would be great if the hey was a little more manageable size for the smaller pets. But this is a great product-thank you for the great quality! Will definitely be ordering again-I think I found our brand of choice!

READ - High Quality Hay!!
Not only has this brand been so efficient and effective in helping my bunny eat more hay, you can tell that the business itself takes very good care of their products and ships out good food for your pet! I am very loyal to this brand and have been purchasing this hay ever since I first ordered it. My bunny loves it and loves the orchard hay this brand offers even more as well! I highly recommend this product if you are trying to get your bunny to eat more hay and want a GOOD quality food for your pet. I have NEVER received bad or old hay from this brand, it is always fresh and smells so good that I almost wish I could eat it too!! 😂 Do you and your bun a favor by trying this hay, it will change the whole aspect of your bunnies health. My bunny is two years old and has never had any health issues of any sort and I consistently believe it is because of this good quality hay. I strongly believe the quality of the hay you feed your bun is what helps most with their health and digestive system. Highly recommend 10/10!!

Best hay ever
This brand is far superior to my old brand. The hay is so much nicer, it’s fresh, it’s not smashed, it smells good and it has all the fluffy parts intact that are my bunny’s favorite.

Good but color is not green
ok long strands seed heads color is yellow, so less nutrient for a higher price?

Great quality for the price
Love this company. Have been buying from them for years. Always delivered in a timely manner and they stuff these boxes as much as possible so def watch when handling. The tape may pop and open the box lol. But that’s a good thing in my book! Also cardboard box for a bunny who loves to chew is an unintended added bonus. Sometimes the company adds in prizes as well!

Fresh and bright green hay
I purchased this after researching what brands of Timothy hay have less crumbles. I felt like over half of my hay for my guinea pigs was just going into the garbage. I read that 1st cutting Timothy hay tends to be crunchier pieces with less dust. It’s very true that the pieces are sturdier and there’s minimal dust. But the pieces are so long that they don’t fit inside my hay feeder. I’ve tried to break them in half but they don’t snap. I just bend them in half and stuff them inside the hay feeder but I don’t think my piggie’s like it as much. They tend to grab a piece and run off to eat it and since the pieces are bent, they’re stuck and they can’t run off. I may need to go through with scissors which seems like a huge pain. I’ll try 2nd cutting next time to see if it’s a little easier to work with. Otherwise, the quality looks amazing and bright green and smells fresh. Update: After several more days of use, I had to remove another star. I did end up going through and cutting the pieces with scissors. I didn’t even use the hay feeder—I just tossed the hay in a pile. Piggies still weren’t impressed. The biggest issue I had was these pieces are so dry and SHARP. I was so worried that a piece would poke one of my piggies’ eyes. They ate this grudgingly when they didn’t have veggies or pellets. I ended up pouring in a bag of Oxbow Timothy Hay in their hay bin and their wheeks were confirmation that they were happy for the softer hay. I still may try 2nd cutting because I could have just been ignorant about the difference between cuts but I’m writing this review for anyone who was looking up less dusty hay and was directed to purchase 1st cutting Timothy as I was.

Small pet select Timothy hay (1st cut
This 1st cut Timothy hay is a really good option if you’re looking for something high in fibre to support your pet’s digestion and dental health. It has a coarser texture with more stems and seed heads, which is great for keeping teeth worn down and encouraging natural chewing. It also smells fresh and natural, which definitely helps with getting pets interested in eating it. That said, it’s not the softest hay, so fussier pets or smaller animals might pick around the thicker pieces. There can also be some variation between boxes since it’s a natural product. Overall though, it’s a solid quality hay—especially suited for rabbits or guinea pigs that benefit from a higher fibre diet rather than softer cuts.

Ottimo Fieno!
Primo pacco finito.

Lots of hay!
I lost how many months I’ve been serving this for my bunny and still in the first box. Quality is good and keeps bunnies healthy. The only recommendation is buying a very resistant gloves to help picking the hay because it may cut your skin when handling it.
