These are stainless steel, which is an absolute “must have” when picking bird spikes. They’re very easy to assemble and 100% effective. These were used on a brick ledge, so I attached them with liquid nails, an adhesive, and that was quicker and easier than drilling.

Birds are no longer marking the cushions on my glider chair. Tried reflective tape, wind spinners, etc. This actually worked. Doesn't look amazing but I am happy. Easy to put together. My 10yr old daughter assembled a few strips.

Spikes are effective and easy to put together. Worked well on an enclosed entryway we have out front. Either need screws, strong adhesive double-sided tape or zip ties to hold. Spikes are wider at the top than the metal base below so consider that when considering placement.

So far, so good. We've had this up almost 2 weeks and so far it appears to be working. We got tired of chasing away barn swallows. They can be very persistent when it comes to nest building. For some reason they love the ledge running across our back porch. We have nothing against birds, but they can be very messy. This product is humane and a great way to dissuade them. Highly recommend!

Easy to build and mount. Definitely works to deter birds.

SWALLOWS WILL STILL GET AROUND THESE AND BUILD A NEST. GOOD IDEA BUT DON'T WORK VERY WELL!

Squirrels destroyed a different rack I had mounted in my garden; I didn’t want to let them do the same to this new one. Product was beautifully packaged and instructions were clear. Assembling the spikes was tedious but satisfying, they click in to place really nicely. The stainless steel appears to be high quality and the spikes are very sturdy once assembled. Two ends needed to be trimmed during installation and tinsnips worked well. Installation was easy if you are screwing into wood, I don’t think I would like to mess around with zip ties. You will need a bit extension in order not to savage your hands. But - the result!! The squirrels were very perplexed. The sat on the edge of the garage and contemplated for a very long time about making the leap. They have been all over the structure trying to get to the rack but can’t reach it. One got brave and made the jump; I was sad my back was turned and I didn’t see it. But the twanging sounds and sheer chaos that followed have me confident that a lesson was learned. Great product. Worth the investment on any stationary structure that you would like to keep safe from pests.
