From a Bygone Era
I guess I am just old. I remember SenSens (somebody PLEASE make them again!) and this type of weird little mouth mint. These give you a ton of flavor, whether you like that flavor or not, withOUT the tons of sugar, bulk, chewing, and all that today's candies offer, and seem to need to offer, for customer satisfaction. This is from an era before everything had a huge insulin response, before high fructose corn syrup, before constant all-day eating, before the spate of dietary-induced illnesses that plague our society. Just a very strong chip of flavor to busy the mouth and the senses. A nice little something when riding the bus, reading a book, relaxing watching TV, without stuffing your face with food food food.

I love these weird little mints
It's hard to describe the intense flavor of these tiny black mints. Minty, licoricey, kinda bitter. Reminds me of tobacco and black coffee, although it doesn't actually taste like either one. At first, I hated it. But I'd purchased six of them and I loved the little yellow tins, so I kept eating them, hoping they'd be an acquired taste. It worked - now I love them. They turn your tongue black, stand up against the strongest garlic breath, and are basically an appetite suppressant due to the strong flavor.

Not kept to standards
Bought this in France back 2013 that was the hook ordered them from Amazon before they were ok, this time they came and were all quiet in container, usually when shake metal container makes noise. Couldn’t get one out they were stuck as one piece, my only complaint is that I got a major reaction after taking them, must’ve gotten soaked with something that made them all stuck.

This has been around for more than 50 years in France
I was born and raised in France, Where the Cachou Lajaunie is very common and appreciated by those who have the taste for it. Away from France for more than 40 years, I had forgotten about it. and never expected to find it in the US, until I found it on Amazon. I got it for me and my wife, who is also born in France. We found it unchanged from what we remember from long ago. So it was a nostalgic experience to taste them again. The taste has not changed at all and the price is right. It is kind of addictive if you like it.

Received the order promptly but was disappointed in the taste of the candy
Received the order promptly but was disappointed in the taste of the candy. I should have heeded the warnings and the reviews of other people, that this candy didn't have a real strong licorice taste. You basically taste salt and mint, no licorice whatsoever. So I'll continue my search for the perfect licorice candy, pure licorice candy not artificial.

Nice calorie free treat
These are easy to carry. Very tiny tidbits of taste. And they last for about five minutes. And they taste good. A unusual flavor. Licorice and mint together. But I like them a lot.

Strong, flavorful licorice.
Tasted like Helps from the past. Good strong licorice flavor but not like my favorite Sen Sen
