DEWALT 12V/20V MAX LED Work Light, Compact with 360 Degree Rotating Handle, 2000 Lumens of Brightness, Cordless, Bare Tool Only (DCL077B)

Have you ever found yourself stumbling through the darkness, desperately searching for a glimmer of hope to light your way? Well, fear not, because I've discovered the shining beacon that will forever change the way you look at light: the DeWalt Work Light. Let's start with its size. This thing is smaller than a pocket-sized dictionary but packs enough lumens to make even the darkest of nights feel like high noon. It's like carrying around a tiny ball of sunshine in your pocket, ready to banish shadows at a moment's notice. But don't let its diminutive stature fool you; this DeWalt powerhouse is as tough as nails. I've dropped it, kicked it, even accidentally left it out in the rain, and it still shines as bright as the day I first laid eyes on it. It's like the Energizer Bunny of DeWalt Work lights; it just keeps going and going and going. And let's talk about versatility. This light isn't just for illuminating your path on late-night walks or camping trips (though it excels at both). Oh no, it's like a Swiss Army knife of illumination, with settings for every occasion. Need a gentle glow for reading? No problem. Need a blinding beam to signal passing ships? Consider it done. But perhaps the most impressive aspect of the DeWalt Work Light is its battery life. I swear, this thing runs on pure magic. I've used it for hours on end without so much as a flicker of dimness. It's like having your own personal sun that never sets. In conclusion, if you're in the market for a DeWalt Work light that's as reliable as it is versatile, then look no further. It's like a ray of sunshine in the palm of your hand, ready to brighten even the darkest of days.

At first, I couldn't decide between this product (DCL077B) and the big dome looking unit with bluetooth (DCL074). As much as I tend to lean on the side of overkill, bigger isn't always better. For me, the big selling point on the DCL077B was the fact it takes both the 12V and 20V Dewalt batteries. To my knowledge, this is the only Dewalt light that accepts their 12v batteries. Since I love the smaller and lighter 12v Dewalt tools for some applications, I decided to give this a try. Now, I'd be lying if I didn't say I was tempted to throw this light back in the box and send it back because it just wasn't the kickass DCL074. However, I quickly discovered that I could attach a 25lb magnet to it using a 1/4"-20 bolt on the tripod mount. Major game changer as I can easily attach it to the hood of my car as well as many other metal objects in my garage. Is this thing as bright as the DCL074? No but it is definitely bright enough for my needs. It might not illuminate an entire room but it will illuminate whatever project I am working on. Given the light weight and versatility of being able to hang it with a magnet, I find that I am using this product much more than I originally anticipated. Sometimes, I even forget to turn it off. No worries. With the long battery life and the ability to easily swap out and recharge the batteries, this is my go to work light. Love it!

The DEWALT 12V/20V MAX LED Work Light has been a game-changer for my DIY projects. With its compact design and powerful brightness, it has made working in dimly lit areas much more manageable. I recently used it while installing new cabinetry in my kitchen. The 2000 lumens of brightness illuminated the entire workspace, making it easy to see all the details and avoid any mistakes. The 360-degree rotating handle was incredibly handy, allowing me to position the light exactly where I needed it without any fuss. What I particularly appreciate is the cordless feature. It frees me from the hassle of finding outlets or dealing with extension cords, making it perfect for any project, whether inside or outside the house. The light runs on both 12V and 20V MAX batteries, which is great since I already have several DEWALT tools and batteries. One small drawback is that it doesn't come with a battery or charger, but since it's a bare tool, it fits right in with my existing DEWALT setup. The build quality feels sturdy and durable, typical of DEWALT's standards. In short, this work light has made my DIY projects a lot easier and more efficient. Its combination of brightness, flexibility, and cordless convenience makes it an indispensable tool in my kit.

I’m a commercial plumber. Great light, lasts 6-8 hours on low with a 5amp battery. Buy a camera tri-pod, hook the adapter to the handle and turn it on. Nice light but only lasts about four hours on high. Lowe’s and Home Depot want $150. Buy now! lol!

I dropped one 20 feet and busted the retaining clip that locks the battery but it still works. My other one I've had for 4 years now and is still in great shape.

I received the product. This DEWALT work light is bright and easy to use. The rotating handle helps direct the light where it’s needed, and the compact size makes it easy to carry. It feels sturdy and provides good illumination for work projects. Overall, a reliable light, though I wish the battery lasted a little longer on high brightness.

My two car garage is my workshop. I have 8 x 4ft. LED tube lights on the ceiling, but there are several spots that are still in shadow. One place that doesn't have enough light is under the large gantry on my CNC machine. I often need to examine details of whatever I'm cutting or carving, so I got this light to put on a tripod to move around the machine for extra lighting. The fact that it uses the same batteries as all my power hand tools, made it the obvious choice. I put one of my 12Ah batteries on this light to use when I was working inside the panels under and around the CNC all day, one day. The light ran 5 hours straight on high setting. When I turned it off, I pressed the button on the battery. It still had all three bars lit up. I think that means it hadn't dropped below 80% yet. Later that day I ran it a couple more hours, and it dropped to two bars. Using that 12Ah battery and setting the light on low during a power outage, you could probably get 3 full days of light out of it. Probably a week, if you only run it in the evenings. I'm very pleased with the battery performance, and the brightness of this light. There is one thing that would make it even better. If the handle had large strong magnets along the flat part, it would make it immensely easier to mount just about anywhere. I'll likely add magnets to the one I have. I also plan to get a couple more of these lights sometime soon. I got rid of my old halogen work lights years ago, because of the safety issues. We were getting burns, tripping over cords, and constantly having to move them out of the way. This is an excellent work light without the need for a dangerous web of extension cords all over the floor of your shop and it stays cool enough to touch. That extra safety is well worth the steep price. I recommend trying one. You'll find yourself reaching for it time after time.

This is a lamp my husband ordered; he loves it and uses it for his work. It is a very good lamp.

Whilst I already had the camera tripod, this light is strong and perfect for continuing my golf practise once dark, which is quite early over winter. I'd recommend for your application.

Excellent work light! Super bright, long battery life, and built tough like all DeWalt tools. Compact design makes it easy to move around, and it works perfectly with my existing DeWalt batteries. Highly recommend for any job site or home use.
