My ~ 10 month old (at the time) baby girl loves playing with buckles, zippers, drawstrings, etc. I bought this last minute before a 3 hour roadtrip to visit family with my daughter. It didn't arrive before I left, but my husband brought it with when he drove up separately, so I had it for the 3 hour drive home. I didn't give it to her right away for the drive home, but after she played with a few of her regular toys, took a 1 hour nap, woke up and played some more, then started getting fussy and upset, I gave her this bag. It kept her entertained for another 40 minutes. This bag and a vibrating/music "soother" I have for her are now my "emergency" toys for car rides to keep my baby happy and entertained! The bag is super cute, really soft, and has 10 buckles to keep a curious baby's attention (there is also a small pocket on one side). Plus the zipper (closure) is a fun "toy" to play with too. This bag has room to hold a few toys and/or books inside it. I love this bag - it goes everywhere with us now! :-)

At almost 19-month-old, my son is OBSESSED with buckles and clips—every size, shape and color. Imagine my absolute joy when I discovered this line of Buckle Toys. I envisioned my son sitting through long car rides and even a flight with this toy. Straight out of the box, I liked how soft the fabric is. It’s not quite velour, but it’s also not felt, like someone had explained in another review. It definitely does not attract dog fur or lint. The colors of the buckles are bright and cheerful, and the backpack itself is made very well. The stitching is strong; as is necessary for toys targeting this age range. The straps are nice and strong, and the buckles are made from strong plastic that feel good in hand. The zipper is very nice quality—easy to zip/unzip without catching, and the pull is a good size for little hands. The backpack surprisingly holds more than I imagined I would. I was able to fit a couple of books, his OXO straw cup, and a couple of diapers with room to spare. My son enjoyed wearing the weighted-down backpack with the “look Mama! I’m wearing a backpack!” proud smile on his face. He’s challenged enough with the buckles to keep him interested, but not too challenged that he gets frustrated. So far he’s mastered buckling the square and round buckles, and can sometimes also open those buckles on his own. I am looking forward to using this for our annual trip across the country this summer. The strap at the top will make it easy for us to carry when he doesn’t feel like wearing it.

I bought this for my 2 yr old granddaughter and it is the perfect size for her. The material it is made out of is much higher quality than I had expected it to be. She needs some assistance with some of the buckles, but she loves fidgeting with the buckles and putting things in/out of the bag. The opening at the top is zippered, so items aren't easily lost, which is nice. I took this to the hospital packed with goodies for her to play with when her baby sister was born. Having the backpack and toys was the perfect diversion, providing a smooth transition during what could have been an uncomfortable hospital experience with all of the new sounds and equipment. She played with the toys on mommy's bed, so it made the strange/big bed not scary. I also bought an Elmo school bus that fits in the backpack if you don't put the dinosaurs inside. My 20 month old loves this bag. The overall quality of the backpack is really nice. It’s sturdily made. The only problem is that the two top buckles of both sides have been attached incorrectly. As you can see by the photos, both top buckles are sewn with the button portion of the buckle facing inward. The bottom buckle of the second photo has been sewn on correctly and you can see the difference, hence one star docked. I debated on whether to return the backpack because of this issue, but because my toddler already saw the bag and was screaming (her way of demanding) for it I tested the buckle for myself and decided she will still have a lot of fun. She definitely enjoys her buckle bag, it’s great for her motor skills and hand eye coordination. I am hoping those two incorrectly sewn on buckles do not bother her as she gets older. It bothers me, but then again I am the adult. Since it doesn’t matter to her, I kept the backpack!

This backpack is awesome. Our daughter is almost two and still small wearing size 12-18 months. She is amused by the backpacks buckles and enjoys wearing this bag into daycare every day, it holds her stuffy and small blanket and she can carry it perfectly. It says to spot wash only, but I put it in a linen bag and hand wash cycle and it came out great

Such a fun little activity backpack for toddlers! 🎒 My 18-month-old stays so entertained with all the different locks and activities. It’s great for keeping little hands busy while helping with fine motor skills too. Definitely a win for busy moms! 💛

It’s made very well ,it’s so soft and has cute learning things on it, has a strong zipper and Velcro to keep it closed, just a great little pack pack for a toddler.

Perfect for keeping toddlers who love buckles busy. Material is easy to clean and my daughter loves carrying around her stuffy in a backpack she can wear.

This is a really cute backpack for toddlers. My granddaughter is very fascinated with buckles and spends lots of time opening and closing the buckles. She's also discovered that she can carry around her "stuff". My only criticism is that it would be nice if the straps (with buckles on them) were slightly stretchy for a bit more "give". These are much tighter than a typical buckle on a high chair or stroller. However, it was worth the purchase and 6 months later she's still playing with it.

Great backpack/toy! My son is obsessed with buckles, so thus is fantastic. Also helps with travel since its a backpack, we just throw other car toys in it and he is busy for a while.

This backpack is very soft, has a warm inviting face, has a sturdy zipper and each buckle is a different type for hours of learning. The backpack has room for small books, snacks and more special treasures. My grandchild loves it.
