Dualit EcoPress Aluminium Coffee Capsule Recycling Tool Nespresso Compatible Recycler - Premium Eco Friendly Tool Nespresso Capsules & Coffee Grounds.

So easy to use, and it means I no longer feel guilty about using coffee pods as every part of them can be recycled. I thoroughly recommend this product.

I bought this little device because I could never be bothered to take the aluminium canisters back to teh Nespresso shop for recycling. I then changed to compostable Nespresso pods, but they can be a bit messy, the range of roasts is a bit limited and they can be a bit expensive. Then I came upon his device here on Amazon and thought that, at this price it was worth a punt. It's simplicity itself to use. Just put the pod upside-down in the top of the device, Pop the 'lid' on and ... push! That's it.The device turns the aluminium pod inside out, as the aluminium is quite soft and malleable. It deposits the coffee grounds in the hopper. All you need to to do then, is rinse the remaining grounds off the inverted pod, and recycle the aluminium whichever way your council wants. The coffee ground are popped in your composting bin (or your own compost heap). Job done!It is easy to clean. I don't know if it's dish-washer safe, but you can hand-clean it easily.A word of warning though. Some pods aren't aluminium, but plastic. This device 'will' crush the pod, but it makes a hell of a noise, and just splits the plastic pod in half and I fear for the safety of the device... Similarly, don't try this device on compostable pods. Ask me how I know! Both these and the plastic ones are too brittle for success.Overall, it's a cracking little piece of kit, and quite small, so you can usually find a place in the kitchen for it.Highly recommended.

I bought this as I had a whole bag full of used coffee pods and I didn't want to throw them in the bin. I couldn't believe how quickly I managed to empty all of them in less than 10 minutes! In a few attempts I was able to empty everything and I used the ground coffee in my garden too. The whole thing is easy to wash. I already washed it a few times in the dishwasher with no issues at all!It is definitely a good value for money, as for £10 you are helping the pods to be recycled and and not just thrown in the bin.

I really like the idea of being able to recycle coffee capsules in the domestic waste rather than having to arrange shipping back to the manufacturer, This is a simple gadget made of good quality materials that does the job of emptying the coffee grinds out of the capsule so it can be recycled as metal. The only down side is that coffee grinds stick to the capsule and any residual liquid also sits around the neck of the container making it all a bit messy yo use.

Brilliant and recommended

I saw this advertised when I bought some Dualit pods and having read the reviews, I was convinced. It is so simple and easy to use, yet great for being able to recycle pods and make use of the coffee grounds. Our kids love pushing the pods through. An absolute bonus that it can go in the dishwasher!

So simple to use.Managed to get 2 weeks of pods recycled in minutes. Much happier using pods now knowing the coffee grounds are going in the garden and the aluminium is being recycled.

Smaller than I thought, but it is a great little gizmo. Squashing the Nespresso pods is so satisfying. I can't put them in the recycling as my council will not accept them. So I will continue to return the empty pods to Nespresso, but because they are empty I can get more in the bag, so don't have to have them collected as often. The spent coffee grounds are a welcome addition for my garden.

Easy to use. Efficient.

This thing! Fabulous idea! Instead of buying those Nespresso recycling postage bags, being annoyed because they're out of stock, blah blah blah...this neat little gadget makes recycling those pods a breeze. Coffee grounds stay in the bottom until they go on my garden and the remaining aluminium goes straight into my household recycling. Best. Idea. Ever.

Francamente recomendable!

Geniale Erfindung! Stabil und funktioniert absolut einwandfrei! Auch für Menschen mit wenig Muckies geeignet :-)
