I haven't had Droewors in Africa, so I don't know their authentic taste. I've tried several brands on Amazon, and this is the only edible one I've found. I'm surprised by the poor reviews, which is why I'm writing this. To me, they're not greasy, taste decent and help me increase my fat and protein intake. Ideal.

Good Droewors
A good quality Droewor, not as good as some I've had, but not bad. Lacking in spice flavour, and I usually prefer my droewors a little harder than these. I can recommend these for the price, but there are better droewors out there.

Ok tasting droewors but it grease lines your mouth instantly and is full of msg.
