15 years of Buying These
I’ve been buying these things for 15 years. And giving them away as gifts. I use them on every single camping trip, and even in my bedroom at night. I use a very bright flashlight (2000 lumen) to charge them for a few seconds right before I go to sleep. They dim at just the right rate to adjust to your eyesight. Solid recommend.

Needs some polish
I'm not going to lie. My first impression wasn't very good. They didn't appear to be very bright and there were some manufacturing issues. But after a while I've grown to appreciate them for what they are. These are glow in the dark crystals suspended in a clear epoxy. Shine a bright light on them for a bit and you are good to glow. If your eyes are adjusted to the dark it is actually a good but of light. Quality control could be better. There were quite a few rough edges and even holes where bubbles in the resin or epoxy had worked their way to the surface. In the tooblite I felt there could have been more crystals and still had enough room for light to reach all of them. The uvglostick and the ring could use a but more Polish before they are shipped off. Both have rough to sharp edges and holes from the air bubbles. If this small issue was fixed it would easily be a five star item. The light is enough to read by for about 15 minutes when fully charged (all of this is assuming your eyes are adjusted to the dark.) and gives off a usable light for about 3 hours. After that it's really only bright enough for you to find them and take the few seconds with your flashlight to charge then back up. So essentially the usable light degrades at a rate of about 0.5% a minute which isn't half bad. These will be awesome once camping season rolls around again

it works great
it works great.... the glow sticks and UVO Necklace are embedded in some sort of epoxy and the loose crystal are in in a sealed bag. it needs to be exposed to light in order to work. The green cells/crystals absorb light while exposed and glow in the darkness. If you leave it in your bag and get it out at night it won't work unless you flash light on it. Sunlight works the best but I bought in a separate instance, a UV black light as a flashlight, so after the sun sets, or just before going to bed or during the night, if the light is too dimmed, a quick shine of the UV flashlight and the items are lit up and very bright, likely the same for a normal flashlight. A really good buy....so, no need for cyalumes/chem lights anymore... It is not made to replace a flashlight or a headlamp. It is not as bright as cyalumes/chem lights but the UVPaqlite work everyday, so no need to carry a box for a full week saving spaces for other items. Furthermore, a normal cyalume/chem light need to be disposed in the garbage, meaning that it will become trash. The UVPaqlite doesn't therefore, making it somewhat eco-friendly and limit the trash. You can hang one in the tent, shine some light on it, it will be bright the whole night... enough that if you wake up, will be able to see in the darkness but it won't blind you.

Very nice glow lights!!!
I was a little hesitant to buy these, but I’m glad I did. When you “supercharge” them (ie blast them with a bright light source, like a LED flashlight, they stay quite bright for about 3-5 (maybe 10) minutes, then fade to a nice glow. Like a night-light. Not sure if I would use them to read in the dark with, as they are not quite as bright as a chem glow stick, but hey. They’re re-usable. Comforting to have vs being in the dark. Saves your flashlight batteries too. As long as your expectations are realistic, you won’t be disappointed. Very happy with these.

Make it at home
Here are some pics of what this looks like after getting hit with 10,000 lumens (if you don't know much about light, 10,000 lumens is 5x - 10x brighter than an average fairly bright flashlight, or 2x - 5x brighter than car headlights on 'high') for a few seconds. I've put a competitor's (Gear Aid Ni Glo) product alongside it for comparison. The UVPaqlites are bigger, which makes them a bit more visible: obviously when you're dealing with a very faint light source, a small one will be harder to see than a big one, but the big ones also might not fit on small zipper pulls and so on. As you can see, these are only ok, they last maybe 10 - 20 minutes at a decent brightness then get very faint. You could probably not use this to read after 10 - 20 minutes without recharging it. It would not make an effective nightlight after 10 - 20 minutes, either. I would not trust this to be visible for longer than 10 - 20 minutes on a dive, and while yes, you can recharge it, you might need to set a repeating alarm to remember to do so on dives. I don't really suggest buying these unless you're in a hurry, as you can make them on your own, very easily, and save a lot of money. Look for youtube videos about making reusable glow sticks and glow cubes using glow powder like this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01M0RUBKV/ mixed with glycerin, resin or silicone caulk (Be aware that if you use a silicone caulk that cures with humidity, it can leak acids which are NOT safe for children, and may even cause bleeding if left pressed directly against skin for extended periods of time). If you're wealthy, or you really need something effective, buy newly manufactured green tritium vials instead. This has nothing on tritium.

Good and reusable
Very handy to mark your gear or mark an item you want to find in darkness. People saying it loses shine too fast TIP: Leave it in the sun 10-20min it'll be charged for the night. If already indoors and got black light or lamp, leave it for 20-30min and its good to go. Shining light on it for 1 min or few seconds just doesn't do it.
