Amazon Basics Aluminum Storage Clipboard, Two-Tier, Standard Clip, 35.6 x 22.8 cm, Silver

Used this a few times now, Seem to be holding up well. Does exactly what it says on the tin. Works as advertised and seems like a sturdy hinge and clip. It is quite a but larger than a4 which works well both for the writing surface and storage underneath. Its the weight you would expect from a metal clipboard. I don't find it too heavy empty but that's down to how strong you are. Its clean metal silver in colour through out. I think the outer surface is likely to end up easily scratched, however that adds to the character of a well abused clipboard haha.

Lightweight but robust enough to knock around the cab of my van, this gets daily use and doesn't seem to mind taking a knock or 2 now and then. Space inside for several A4 pads & a pen slot at the bottom, as well as a clip for sheets or certificates to be completed on the outside cover. Shuts securely

Nice size to store my paper work and good quality

All as described

Very sturdy, used every day in a factory is holding well.

Love the box

Perfect for storage and when signees need to sign for deliveries, they have a hard surface to sign paperwork. So good, I bought another one, and a colleague has bought one also.

Had some plastic ones and they break for me but this is nice and solid so should last (4 weeks so far)

I love this clipboard and the size I love , the durability works great, weight is nothing until you put stuff inside , light feature is the springs are a little tight, design I wish i could get is customized

Nice sturdy aluminum box and writing board with strong clip. Box is quite spacious. Bit expensive but worth it. Has a place for keeping pens, pencils, etc. inside the box.

Molto ben fatta la usano molto gli americani e poi metterci di tutto ottimo acquisto e facile uso

The Amazon Basics Aluminum Storage Clipboard is a practical and durable tool for professionals, students, or anyone who needs a portable, organized workspace. With a two-tier design and a standard clip, this 14" x 9" clipboard offers plenty of storage space for documents, pens, and small items, while also providing a sturdy writing surface. Here’s a detailed review based on its design, functionality, and durability. Durable Aluminum Construction The clipboard is made from lightweight yet sturdy aluminum, which ensures it can withstand the wear and tear of daily use. Whether you're using it in the field, on a construction site, or in the office, the aluminum design provides long-lasting durability while remaining lightweight enough to carry comfortably. The silver finish gives the clipboard a clean, professional look, making it suitable for a variety of settings. The aluminum construction also means it’s resistant to dents and scratches, so it stays looking good even after heavy use. Two-Tier Storage Design One of the standout features of this clipboard is the two-tier storage compartment. The top storage section opens to reveal a space large enough to hold papers, notepads, and other documents, while the bottom tier provides additional storage for pens, pencils, small tools, or other accessories. The internal storage space is deep enough to hold a decent amount of paperwork and supplies, making it easy to stay organized on the go. The two-tier design is ideal for those who need quick access to different types of documents or supplies during their workday. Standard Clip for Secure Hold The standard clip at the top of the clipboard is strong and reliable, holding papers securely in place. The clip has a firm grip, so even when you’re writing or moving around, your documents stay put. This is especially useful for tasks that require a stable writing surface, whether you’re taking notes, filling out forms, or sketching plans. The clip can accommodate a decent stack of papers, so you can easily keep your most important documents on the outside while storing others inside the clipboard. Portable and Lightweight Despite its sturdy construction, this clipboard remains lightweight and portable, making it easy to carry with you throughout the day. Its 14" x 9" size is perfect for holding standard letter-sized documents, and it fits comfortably in a backpack, briefcase, or simply carried by hand. It’s an ideal companion for professionals like contractors, nurses, teachers, or delivery drivers, who often need a portable work surface and storage solution. Secure Latch for Storage Compartment The storage compartment is secured with a reliable latch that keeps everything in place, even when you're on the move. The latch is easy to open but locks securely, ensuring that your papers and supplies won’t spill out accidentally. This feature is particularly useful for those working in busy or active environments, as it keeps all your important materials securely stored and organized. Weather-Resistant Thanks to its aluminum construction, this clipboard is naturally resistant to the elements. It’s a good option for those who may be working outdoors or in environments where their clipboard could be exposed to moisture, dirt, or other harsh conditions. The clipboard’s surface is easy to wipe clean, ensuring that it stays in good shape no matter where you take it. Pros Durable aluminum construction: Lightweight yet sturdy, able to withstand heavy use. Two-tier storage: Provides ample space for documents, pens, and small accessories, keeping everything organized and within reach. Secure clip: Holds papers firmly in place, making it easy to write on the go without losing your documents. Portable: Lightweight and easy to carry, ideal for professionals who need a portable workspace. Secure latch: Keeps storage compartments securely closed, preventing spills or disorganization. Weather-resistant: Suitable for outdoor or tough working environments, easy to clean and maintain. Cons Limited storage depth: While the two-tier design is useful, the internal storage may not accommodate very large or bulky items. Clip may be too tight for very thick stacks: The standard clip holds papers securely, but it may not be ideal for holding extremely thick stacks of documents. Final Thoughts The Amazon Basics Aluminum Storage Clipboard is a highly functional and durable tool, perfect for anyone who needs a reliable writing surface and storage on the go. Its two-tier storage design, combined with its lightweight yet sturdy aluminum construction, makes it ideal for professionals who need to stay organized in the field, office, or classroom. If you’re looking for a versatile and dependable clipboard with storage capabilities, I highly recommend the Amazon Basics Aluminum Storage Clipboard. It’s a well-made, practical solution for keeping your paperwork and essentials secure, accessible, and organized, no matter where you are.
