Anyone who has this brace also have the one with the metal stays? Do the stays make a difference?

I bought this one first and then the one with the metal. The one with the metal hinges is way better. You can take them out if you don't need as much support. The other also has more Velcro and stronger straps. Is definitely worth putting a little bit of money out for the other.

i order two style i looking knee support to easy the pain in the knee it could be knee support or tabelt i went by the few time in the last two weeks no result if you have any you could recomend to easy the pain i will be glad thank you

This item helps with pain. But it is only light support. If you have a lot of main you need more support. You might want to check with your doctor.Thank you

Is this brace washable?

I'm not sure what all the little pictures on the attached care label mean, but it's obviously washable and I've interpreted it to mean hand washing/ no wringing and air drying. In any event, that's what I'm doing and it seems to be working well.

What is the total length of this brace? From the top to bottom? Measured from the front, side, or back?

The front of the brace is 10 1/2" measured from top to bottom through the kneecap opening. There are three straps. The top strap measures 21" across ... which includes the body of the brace (about 11" wide). The middle strap is 18". And the bottom strap is 18 3/4". The brace is "moderately" supportive. Which means that if you've got serious knee issues ... you should look for something else.
